Tickets and tour vouchers were obtained smoothly. Station staff directed us to platform B to wait for the guide to lead us onto the bus. Sitting on the upper deck of the double-decker bus provided a better view during the journey. The first stop was Afsluitdijk, where we had a brief 30-minute stay to learn about the Dutch dam engineering technology that balances the separation of sea and land. The second stop was Giethoorn. We first took a traditional boat tour for 1 hour, followed by a very generous 2.5 hours of free time. Strolling through the village with its small bridges, flowing water, and houses, the overall experience was very satisfying. I recommend this to travelers who don't want to go by themselves but wish to spend more time in Giethoorn.

The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the meeting point was also convenient, about a 5-minute walk from the train station. I enjoyed the cheese factory visit very much. The visit to the windmill village was a bit rushed, though; I wish it had been about 30 minutes longer. Overall, a good experience :)

This tour exceeded all our expectations, and a big part of that was our amazing guide, Holly. She didn’t just introduce the attractions themselves, but went much deeper—sharing the historical background, cultural context, and everyday stories behind Dutch history, including details about local life, traditions, and even food like cheese and butter. As foreign visitors, Holly helped us truly understand the Netherlands, not just see it. Her explanations made every stop meaningful rather than just a photo opportunity. The tour felt thoughtful, well-paced, and incredibly informative. Highly recommended for anyone who wants more than a standard sightseeing tour. This was an authentic and enriching experience.

Geweldige ervaring. We hadden het geluk dat de zon scheen in dit sombere seizoen, terwijl we volop genoten van de bezienswaardigheden van de Zaanse Schans en Giethoorn. De gids is niet alleen deskundig, geestig en geduldig, hij is ook een alles-in-één, want hij was tegelijkertijd onze minibuschauffeur en onze boottochtchauffeur gedurende deze hele tour. Een absolute aanrader als je op zoek bent naar een ontspannende tour.

The overall experience of this trip (3/7) was excellent. Our guide, Adu, provided clear and well-organized explanations throughout. He not only introduced the historical background and cultural characteristics of each attraction in great detail but also made it easy for everyone to understand in a relaxed and engaging way, making the entire itinerary enriching without feeling dull. Adu himself was very enthusiastic, patiently answering all questions from the group members, and his itinerary planning and time management were impeccable. The attractions on the itinerary were also well worth seeing, such as the beautiful Zaanse Schans Windmill Village, full of traditional Dutch charm, and the playful LEGO town, which is perfect for photos. Each place had its unique characteristics. Giethoorn was particularly impressive, with its small bridges, flowing water, and tranquil village atmosphere making one feel very relaxed. Overall, it was a rich and enjoyable journey. Not only did we see many distinctive places, but thanks to Adu's professional and enthusiastic guidance, the entire trip was smoother and full of fun. It comes highly recommended.

It was a perfect day to see the flowers. I will definitely come back and book the same, this time with my kids.

We are so happy we booked this tour, it was absolutely amazing, and we highly recommend it! A huge thank you to our tour guide, Leidse. We truly enjoyed every moment of the tour. He was friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, caring, and energetic,truly the best tour guide ever! He’s also an excellent photographer who made sure we captured beautiful memories. We visited the places I had always wanted to see in the Netherlands: Zaanse Schans, Lego Village, and Giethoorn. Since we were a small group, we had plenty of free time to explore and take pictures. The weather was sunny and perfect, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable and unforgettable!

I was very impressed with the beautiful flowers. We were on the tour first thing in the morning and the operation was very smooth. Although the weather in May is nice, I would recommend joining the tour a little earlier in the season if you want to see the tulip fields all over the place!
