The entire process, from hotel pickup to the Cultural Village, then to the Safari Park, and finally back to our hotel, was relatively smooth. The only issue was a language barrier. We tried speaking very simple English, but they didn't seem to understand us. We weren't aware that the entrance ticket to the Cultural Village was included, and the staff asked us to pay to enter. However, the organizer contacted me the next day to confirm it was included and processed a refund. Additionally, we felt quite lost in the Cultural Village as we didn't know what was complimentary and what wasn't. Nevertheless, the village was very peaceful and calming. Aside from these points, the tour was considerably worth it. The best part was the close-up experience with the animals!

Our family had an amazing time visiting the Safari Park and Death Railway. It was such a fun and unforgettable experience! The absolute highlight was feeding the giraffes—getting so close to them was a thrill for both the kids and adults. We also visited the historic River Kwai Bridge and made sure to take a one-station train ride. Traveling along the cliffside on the vintage tracks offered breathtaking views and a real sense of history. This trip is perfect for families looking for a mix of wildlife adventure and culture. Highly recommended!

We had a great time with the Kanchanaburi multiple route private tour booked through Klook. The itinerary was exceptional, well planned, and we were fully informed throughout the booking process. A special thanks to Ton, our tour guide and driver for the day. He was amazing—although he had some difficulty communicating in English, we were truly impressed by his effort to make sure we were comfortable, safe, and enjoying the tour. He arrived early at our hotel, drove carefully, and ensured we returned safely. Bonus points for Ton’s photography skills—he took great photos for us and made the experience even more memorable. Overall, his service was exceptional, and we would definitely request him again for our next tour. Thank you, Klook and Ton, for the wonderful experience.

Since we were staying one night in Kanchanaburi, we booked a two-day private car charter. The car company contacted us via email three days before departure to confirm the departure time and itinerary. Safari Park is further away and requires an additional charge. The driver was very friendly, communicating with us using simple English and Google Translate. The journey from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi takes about 2.5-3 hours. When we told the driver we needed a restroom break, he stopped at a gas station for us. On the way to the hotel in the evening, he even asked if we wanted to stop at a convenience store to buy anything. The long drives between Bangkok, Kanchanaburi, and various attractions were always smooth and safe with the driver. Upon arriving at attractions, the driver, although not obligated to be a tour guide, would tell us what there was to see and even helped us take photos. For example, at the Bridge over the River Kwai, he told us what time the train would pass, encouraging us to stay a little longer to see it. Overall, this private car charter service allowed us to have a wonderful two-day, one-night stay in Kanchanaburi.

Mr. Nut picked us up on time at the hotel, and he was not only a driver but a good guide as well! He knew the history and story of each place in our itinerary. He arranged it so that the sequencing of places to go to is more efficient. This is a good itinerary touching River Kwai history and World War 2 events while Erawan Falls is a showcase of different waterfalls (a 3-hour trek if you want to finish all 7 levels. Make sure you have the right shoes, stamina and enough water.) He was also flexible with our decisions whether to finish the whole trek or not and what time we want lunch. He also suggested good places to eat that are easily accessible. He knew where the good photo spots were so that we didn’t waste any time. He took many pictures of us that were outstanding. We were very satisfied with Mr. Nut’s service. Thank you Klook!

Der Fahrer kam pünktlich am frühen Morgen, obwohl ihr Englisch nicht allzu gut war. Wir haben trotzdem versucht zu kommunizieren. Wir konnten die Kwai-Fluss-Brücke besuchen, mit dem Zug fahren und die Todesbahn passieren. Wir kamen auch zur Elefantenwelt. Einen Elefanten zu halten ist ein Gefühl voller Wärme😊

THE BEST DECISION AND EXPERIENCE WE HAD IN THAILAND!!! No amount of words can express how happy we were during this trip. It was a whole day itinerary. We were really well-accommodated by the driver from Klook and most especially the people from Elephant World.

This Old Town day tour was truly excellent value, all thanks to our guide, Michael Jackson (who calls himself the Takeshi Kaneshiro of Thailand)! He was full of energy all day, and his professionalism was simply perfect. He is Thai, but speaks both Chinese and English extremely fluently. Especially when explaining dynastic history in Chinese, his logic was very clear, and there were absolutely no communication barriers. What impressed us most was that he even brought his own exquisite historical materials and before-and-after comparison photos, allowing us to compare the ancient sites with their past appearance. History instantly came alive, no longer just looking at stone buildings. During the tour, he also patiently taught us to speak Thai. Under the scorching Bangkok sun, he always thoughtfully helped us find shady spots for photos and explanations, making our trip relaxed and comfortable. We truly hope every group can encounter such an excellent guide like Michael Jackson. He added so much to this trip!
