Enjoy museums like the Louvre and Orsay in two days! We visited a total of six facilities in two days. It's best to book the Louvre and Sainte-Chapelle in advance!

It was a truly joyful experience to visit the Musée d'Orsay, a place I absolutely had to see to view Van Gogh's works, and to hear our guide speak about his life. Learning about and experiencing the evolution of painting from Realism to color-centric Realism and Impressionism, encompassing not only Van Gogh but also Millet, Courbet, Monet, and Renoir, significantly broadened my understanding of art, which I had previously only learned from books and memorized. Thank you for allowing me to experience and feel what Impressionism truly is, rather than just ending with a mere explanation. By personally experiencing the feeling that I would never have understood just by hearing about it, I was able to delve deeper into Impressionism even after the tour ended. I highly recommend taking an extra hour or two to explore the museum individually after the tour. I hope everyone gets to enjoy this opportunity to vividly see and feel the paintings that we only ever saw as small images in textbooks, right before their eyes with our guide.

The small group guided tour I chose after much deliberation on how to best experience the immense Louvre was truly excellent. If I had gone alone, I would have just looked at the artworks, taken a photo, and moved on. But this tour allowed me to view each piece from multiple perspectives and consider its historical background, meaning, and the artist's intentions. From the moment before entering the museum, Guide Choi Jun-ho's explanations of France's history and present, spanning from the 1st century BC, made the three hours at the Louvre feel incredibly short. I truly realized the saying, "The more you know, the more you see." While a tour that simply involves listening to explanations is good, I highly recommend a small group tour where you can ask questions, engage in conversation, and immerse yourself in the history of each era. It was a time to fully enjoy the romance of Paris, with the guide's kind explanations and songs played during the transfers.

I highly recommend buying individual tickets only. The package deals are a rip-off; don't fall for them like I did. Once you've bought your tickets, you can go directly to the venue and queue for fast-track entry, saving a lot of hassle.

It was very convenient. We entered through the designated entrance and only waited ten minutes. If we hadn't purchased tickets in advance, we would have had to queue for at least an hour. Plus, it was cold and drizzling on the day I went.

Worth a visit, no need to waste time queuing, the museum isn't crowded, and Monet's paintings are always worth seeing 😎

Some passes saved a lot of money. I originally didn't plan to visit the Musée d'Orsay, but ended up going and saw Van Gogh's self-portrait.
