2 adults 1 child (5yo) CLEANLINESS-1st room we were given was less than desirable. Rooms need a serious upgrade. TV didn't work, aircon in lounge area rattled, only given sheets in the middle of winter, walls and parts of the bathroom were dirty, ensemble base was stained. Room had a smell. Sofa lounge mattress was paper thin and one corner of the frame was out of shape so gave the sofa bed a lean. Requested new room and was advised we could be moved the following afternoon. D*** body (wish I was joking) found in room next to us next morning, definitely been there more than a day with the smell once the room was opened up. 2nd room better condition however areas on walls were dirty with splashed food and something running down the wall. Sofa bed mattress same. Not sure if dishes get professionally washes between stays. STAFF-don't seem to know their own hotel, at check in my mate received smart ass remark, the next morning the staff didn't appear to know we were told we would be moved rooms the evening prior, until my mate mentioned we were next door to the D*** body to which they then quickly looked for an alternate room other than an apology nothing else was offered, bare minimum service. RESTAURANT severely understaffed (1 person for everything) while reception doing nothing to help out.

The pool was smaller than the photos suggested. The place was very convenient for train station and cross river bridges. I would stay there again

Chloe was very helpful. Seems previous guests had broken the TV and remained silent about it. Chloe fixed it promptly. Shower is over bath, which can be an issue for the elder traveller. Close to some very fine restaurants and bars. Room was a bit dated and some minor maintenance would help.

Fantastic location but that is where it ends , the staff are robotic . We had a room just above the rubbish bins that were searched by homeless each night and was picked up noisily at 5 am - cleaning is hit and miss - the whole building needs some TLC
