The hotel was generally okay and the staff were very friendly, but unfortunately there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the room that kept me awake all night.

When I stayed there 5 years ago, the rooms were spacious,
The service was good.
This year, the room was small and smelled of cigarettes.
Daiyokujo was also bad.
It looked like they were cutting costs.

While not bad, this was not the normal APA experience. The amenities were completely different (in a negative way) compared to normal APA hotels.E.g., the pillows were substandard comoared to the usual APA memory foam pillows. The bath was a Showa period type bucket. Try the one next door, as it is called APA Hotel rather than APA Villa with this one.

Restaurant is excellent. You can enjoy delicious local cuisines with materials from local such as rice, fish, vegetables, sake and so on.

Świetnie Typical budgetary business hotel. The room is small, but it has everything you need. The place is very conveniently located beside the JR Tsubamesanjo station.

Bigger bed and room than expected (keeping in mind it's Japan!). Nicely thought out little extras and good service.
