We received a free bottle of water each day which was a nice gesture alongside the tea and coffee. Very clean room and lots of choice for breakfast

Great location, outstanding concierge and other staff, excellent breakfast. My annex room was large and overlooked a small grove of trees, so a bit more green nature than bright light. It was very peaceful, calm and quiet despite being an easy walk to the busy high season streets of the old town. Mobility tip: You can avoid a lot of stairs walking to the old town by asking the concierge how to use the garage entrance.

We stayed for 4 nights and were very disappointed that they put us in the annex building and not the main building, which is far prettier and has the breakfast restaurant and a decent lobby. Our room was decent but facing the back hills not a pretty view and also the annex building has no character, it’s like a plain apartment building! For the price we paid nothing special the location is good but definitely not worth being put in the annex building ! Breakfast was ok nothing spectacular. Again for a 5 star location and price the hotel is just average. Staff is indifferent.

The all staff was impeccably attentive and efficient. Their service is above and beyond. True 5 star courtesy. Front desk check in and out was super fast. Stijepo sent me message via WhatsApp to see if I needed anything. ( very nice touch ). The property itself is beautiful building. I liked the decorative color of pick and navy at terrace bar. By the way the terrace bar is a must. Great view of old town. One of most enjoyable place in this earth. Room is tastefully decorated. Room service was good and fast. Just steps away from old town Pile gate. So very convenient for sightseeing , restaurants and shops. Only thing surprising was at breakfast, there was no omelette making station. The lids of heavy Cruchet for food was rather annoying to lift up and cover each time. Coffee didn’t taste as good as other places in Croatia. I didn’t visit spa nor swimming pool since I stayed just one night.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, the hotel property immaculate, the breakfast outstanding with foods to meet anyone's taste, and possibly the highest praise goes to the staff. The concierge services were a huge help in helping us plan our trip and making restaurant reservations and all were extremely friendly. The location could not be better. This hotel is a class act and I would recommend it to anyone, including the most discriminating traveler.
