Excellent location - close to train stations, restaurants and shops. Rooms were bigger than expected. Breakfast buffet was wonderful. Always had a space and never had to wait. The view from the room at night was perfect. Definitely recommend.

We are a family of 5 from the UK, staying in Tokyo for the first time. We can’t imagine having stayed in a better hotel than this one. The rooms are clean and comfortable with thoughtful provisions for everything required for our stay. Rooms are kept spotless daily. The hotel staff and amenities are superb. Breakfast was a huge hit with our three teenagers with the most wonderful view. Location is fantastic, Asakusa feels like a safe and calm area, with great transport links to the rest of Tokyo. If you want a bit of luxury and oasis of calm to base yourself whilst you explore Tokyo, this is the place! Thank you to all the team that made our stay so perfect.

Good stay

We only booked this hotel for 1 night, but after staying there, wished we booked a longer stay. It is conveniently located near to major sights, such as the Senso-ji Temple, Ueno park, Akihabara Electric Town and the famous 'Kitchen Street'. There is a subway stop right outside the hotel, as well as another line a short distance away. It's also a stop on the Airport shuttle bus, which is very convenient. What I liked most about this hotel was it's 70's art deco structure, the crimson and gold palette which has retained it's refined character even through upgrades and modernisation. There is a grand foyer with a well staffed front desk, as well as a concierge and smartly uniformed bell hops who are very welcoming and attentive. It felt like being in a movie. Next, the room and views were outstanding! Very spacious room, comfortable beds, with all the conveniences. We couldn't ask for more. The top floor restaurant and bar offers a panoramic view of the city. It was a perfect place to relax with a cocktail and watch the city lights below. I had almost booked the new extension of the hotel (Roku Annex) across the street, which looked very nice and modern online, but I'm so glad we went with the older, tried and true original. It was 5/5 stars!

호텔 들어서자마자 캐리어 끌어주시고 친절하게 전달내용 알려주십니다! 저는 시티뷰에서 스카이트리뷰로 변경 가능하냐고 여행 몇 주 전 문의를 드렸을 때 당일 날 남아있는 방을 보고 가능할 것 같다고 하셨는데 체크인 하는 당일날에 스카이트리뷰로 변경해주셨습니다! 덕분에 항상 일정 마치고 돌아오면 예쁜 스카이트리뷰가 기다리는 방으로 기분 좋게 돌아왔습니다. 그리고 이건 개인차가 크겠지만, 제가 잠자리가 바뀌면 잠을 잘 못 자는 성격인데 잠도 정말정말 잘 잤습니다 감사합니다!!

The hotel staff are really friendly, great English spoken, very efficient. The rooms are a bit dated but clean, everything worked and the view was amazing.

Love this place. Here has the best Tokyo Skytree tower view.

I don't know exactly how to express how nice a stay this was. The beauty of the lobby, extending to the front desk, the immaculate and cozy rooms, the remarkable and outgoing staff (at times, it felt like there was one staff person at every point I was making my way to, whether it was someone to summon an elevator or bid farewell as you leave the building) and of course, it's in the name - the VIEW! I knew I picked the right hotel when the man at customs complimented the destination when he saw it on my declaration, but I wasnt ready for how wonderful the entire establishment was. Perfect location (you can walk right to Capybara Cafe, Senso-Ji temple, even Skytree if you're a capable walker) and so many stations nearby that you are instantly connected to places like Ueno, Akihabara and even Shinjuku. There is a supermarket literally right next door, so you have all the benefits of a convenience store with many, many extras. I've stayed in Japan several times, in several different locations, but this was above and beyond my expectations. If you have the opportunity, stay here for sure. You will NOT regret it.
