The family who own the homestay are so friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. The rooms are basic but immaculate with very good a/c. Breakfast was delicious and the location is central to all of the attractions of fort cochin

Very lovely hosts. Organised taxi from airport to home stay. AC and fan works great. Breakfast was extra and worth it as you’re filled up for the day.
Must see local kathakali show which is organised at home stay.

Fantastic stay, especially as our first stop in India! We stayed for a whole week to have time to catch up on work and still explore, and we couldn’t have picked a better spot. Staying for a whole week meant we also got a full room clean halfway through our stay which was lovely! Friendly and helpful family, laundry service (for a good price), chance to chat with other guests at breakfast, great walkable location. The family helped us organise tours - a backwater boat trip and Kathakali and both were a great price and really special experiences. Also breakfast was a real highlight - we opted for Kerala breakfast and got something different (& delicious and filling!) every day! Can’t recommend enough and would happily stay again.

Homestay was very centrally located. Can easily walk to most places, or take a short tuktuk ride.
Hosts were very friendly and helpful. They booked our Kathakali show and told us about the sights and the ceremony that was going on at the time.
Everywhere was very clean. Could have done with another pillow. But Im sure if I'd asked, they would have given me one!

Excellent great value clean rooms. Bathroom in every room ac optional for each room. Owners Gina and George are lovely and super helpful …. Will arrange a driver or local events. ….even took me to the bus stop. Forte Cochi is great for art lovers and central for other Kerala tourist trip as 1 to2 hours to either Munnar tea plantation, Alleppy Backwaters and Athrippally Waterfalls! Fully recommend this great home stay.

Best homestay at the Fort. Good location, good facilities, best staff and owner. Helped us go on a boat trip, and after checkout went with us and the taxi to show us the way to a nearby hotel to pick up a friend to the airport. Loved Kochi, loved Bastian.
