The room and washroom are clean and walking distance to the lake. Heating is good in the room. Nice for cold weather. But no elevator or help for big luggage.

Wonderful to be able to get a room here on the lake front at such short notice. Loved the newly decorated room with a great few of the lake. Staff were very friendly and kindly upgraded me to one of the newly decorated rooms with a view of the lake. The room was toasty warm and nicely decorated. Amazing shower with good pressure. The Jack Rabbit restaurant downstairs is great with super friendly and helpful staff which was great as no need to go outside in the cold once checked in for the night. Highly recommended and hope to stay again.

Could not find much to fault. The room was spotless, well appointed, with mini fridge, table, two chairs, with an enviable view of the lake. The shower/bathtub was a plus. However it did not have a microwave nor was not able to log on the internet. Very pleased with my room.

An excellent hotel to stay at, easy parking, great room and amenities all very clean and tidy. Staff were friendly, very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. Highly recommend the Godley Hotel to everyone.

The room is clean, warm and comfortable for our stay in May. The hotel is within walking distance to many different areas of Lake Tekapo, would be keen to visit again

The room was is bad need of updating. Lots of chipped paint, holes in carpet, rusty vents, etc. Staff was super helpful and friendly.
