Located in a great spot, very short walk to popular places. Staff helpful and friendly. Clean and tidy enough room. Good AC. Bedding looked clean but I did notice a slight smell on some part I couldn’t exactly find. Shared amenities were fine except the bathroom, which didn’t appear that clean and a shower floor combo that users should be careful on. Overall, its a good enough stay, a good price, and in a good spot

Lovely location! It’s an old building but the painting and furniture are fresh and new. There’s no much noise isolation tho. I could easily hear people’s next door and their doors closing which woke me up a few times at night. King street is not too noisy, but you can hear a bit of street chat/cars etc. Lucky I travel with my earplugs. You get what you pay for. Kitchen and amenities are great and staff super friendly.

This is an adequate 2* hotel. We decided to save money on accommodation and use the savings to eat out at all the wonderful vegan cafes and restaurants in New Town. We got what we paid for and were happy. Staff very helpful. Linen clean. And hot water. Bed relatively comfortable. Very good value compared to most accommodation in Sydney. Will definitely suit the budget traveller. Small area to heat up food in microwave. Close to public transport. Free parking on side streets but not easy. Next time we would not bring car.
