The only criticism is that the long wait to get the car at the valet service. 45 mins was far too long - it was disorganized

The rooms and the hotel were beautiful. The staff however was very not helpful at all. A member of our party was injured on site due to faulty equipment and instead of helping and going through proper procedures they continued to try and minimize things

The hotel property is amazing and the room we stayed in had a terrific view of the original Hotel Del structure and the ocean. At night it was spectacular. The restaurant food was very good. It is not cheap but it is worth it. The staff was fantastic.

Fantastic trip. We loved the easy beach access in the whole entire hotel set up. It was a wonderful resort and we truly enjoyed our stay.

This is an amazing, historic hotel. It was a splurge, but worth it. So why only 3 stars? There was a complete lack of transparency on pricing. We wanted to order room service. No menu, you have to go on-line. We went on-line. No prices. If you order a hamburger the price will be a surprise. We wanted to book time in the spa. You have to go on-line. We went on-line. No prices. If you order a massage the price will be a surprise. I complained about this lack of transparency to the front desk. They looked me in the eye and with a straight face told me they couldn't put the price on-line because it was subject to change. When they don't publish the price, they insulted my wallet. When they tried to tell me the website couldn't keep up with changing prices they insulted my intelligence. Go check this yourself on their website. I hope this is out of date and they now provide price information on food and amenities. As it is, I felt they did not respect me as a customer.

Our first room had a view of a vertical roof, Like a wall. Thankfully they switched our room upon request.
