Ultra modern Marriott hotel. Shopping mall nearby. Twin towers with 23 floors and bridge between them as a top sightseeing place. Spa could be better, but overall this was a very nice stay.

Plain hotel overrun with tourists loaded on buses. Room was not special and furniture not comfortable in the junior suite corner room. Little storage for clothes. Breakfast not included and very expensive.

The staff helped me make a purchase with a computer and also with language.

We just could not get an early check in as requested and did not get a room with 2 beds as booked. Otherwise it was a good hotel.

The air conditioner in the room was not working, so late at night it was very hot. I called the front desk and they were able to switch our room with a properly functioning air conditioner. The staff was friendly and immediately let us change.

Room was extremely dirty with stained pillows and dirty toilet/ bathroom etc. General appearance of room was shabby with stains on blinds, walls and furniture. When we contacted the reception staff they couldn’t care less and just said that they will tell house keeping for the next guest. In the morning we tried to get a coffee and were rudely told by the waiter that we couldn’t have one!!! Yet he served some Danish people in the bar with a coffee!

This stay was not what I expected from a Marriott and not reasonable for the price paid. The room was very noisy because it backed onto the lifts and it was like having trucks going past all night. The blinds did not block light at the sides and the room was far too light to sleep in. Blockout blinds are required in summer. There is glass between the room and the bathroom that is see through apart from a small middle band. That not only means the blinds need to be closed while using the bathroom, so those in the opposite tower cannot see through to the toilet, but also means that lying in bed there is an uncomfortable view of anyone else using the bathroom. It needs full height frosting on the glass. The coffee supplies were not topped up unless we left a specific note, and same with the soap dispenser. When we came back to the room during the day there were always piles of bags of rubbish lying around in the corridor. At one point I counted 6 big clear rubbish bags between the lift and my room, and my room was beside the lift. It was a rubbish tip not a Marriott. I understand that bins are emptied as they service the rooms but the bags should be removed straight away not piled up in the corridor. The weather was windy and rainy, yet we had to go outside to get to the conference centre in the same building because the internal door was locked. That was disappointing. Breakfast is expensive. The shower was quite mouldy around the edges and needed renovation.

All the time room was so clean and very good place to live.
