We stayed because of the proximity to the train station. We found the site very walkable and the rooms (3 twins) were perfect for our group. Cleanliness and staff help was excellent. Price was reasonable.

The room is clean, the staff is very helpful, breakfast has plenty of options, and the location is convenient.

A very nice hotel close to Kyoto station with excellent staff, squeaky clean interiors and elaborate buffet breakfast. You obviously cannot compare it to a Four Seasons property but within their class, they were in the top tier in Japanese properties.

This hotel is in a very good location, just across from Kyoto Station, which has many restaurants and shops. It's also next to a shopping mall and only about a 5-minute walk to Aeon Mall. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The lobby and reception area looked fancy and even had a tea room. When we arrived early, they stored our luggage for free, so we could explore the city before checking in. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of choices including Western and traditional options, and they also had several options for different dietary needs. There is a laundry facility, massage chairs, and a hot spring bath (onsen) available. Basic toiletries like toothbrushes, shaving supplies, and lotions can be found at the reception that you just pick up. Our room was clean and quiet. The AC worked perfectly. It was a standard size room for Japan, with three single beds. The only minor downside is that the toilet, which is in a separate room, isn't perfectly designed—if you have long legs, your knees might touch the wall. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Brilliant welcoming and helpful staff. Room was cleaned to perfection daily with clean laundry available too. The lounge with hot and cold drinks was fantastic along with a superb wide ranging breakfast buffet containing continental and Japanese favourites. We used the compact gym with dumbbells, cycle machine and treadmills which was accessible at peak times. You could view the laundry machines via QR code available from your room TV which was helpful. The central location of the hotel and top quality facilities means I would recommend to other especially having stayed in Kyoto at the Ibis Styles nearby.

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is super close to the main train station, and the staff was wonderful. An added bonus for us was that there was a laundry facility on the property for guests to use.
