Here’s a polished hotel review you can use: I had a wonderful stay at Eastin Grand Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their warm, friendly, and professional service. Everyone was incredibly accommodating and always willing to help with a smile, making my stay comfortable and stress-free. The food was excellent, with a great variety of delicious options that were fresh and beautifully prepared. Every meal exceeded my expectations. The combination of exceptional hospitality, attentive service, and outstanding dining made this a truly memorable experience. I highly recommend Eastin Grand Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with top-notch service, and I would gladly return on my next visit. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Stayed here as Intro Travel Philippines tour started from here the next evening. Had actually stayed at a few of the brand's other hostels in South East Asia on other Intro Tours. This one doesn't have a pool or the social vibe of those others, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Although the neighbourhood has a few sketchy characters when you walk down the street, it is pretty close to life-size toy museum (top of shopping center down the road) and other interesting stuff. Rooftop has a view of Manila. Food on that and the reception common area floor was a bit overpriced, considering all the fast food and local food options on the street just outside the front door. But it was good.

I would highly recommend this hostel for Backpackers and solo travellers. It is located walking distance from convenience stores, pharmacies and food options. Most of the staff were extremely helpful and kind. The biggest asset for me was the laundry facilities onsite, this was super convenient. Absolutely one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. They also have luggage storage for guests so you can make Manila your base of operations if you are travelling with suitcases like I did and then transitioned to backpack to do the other islands. I started in Manila, shopped for 2 days, left my luggage then went to Cebu-Moalboal and Oslob, Dumaguete to Siquijor and finally to Puerto Princessa before heading back to Manila. It was a smooth and seamless process especially for a solo female traveller hailing all the way from Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹

Nice set up. Clean. Comfortable. Bright. Steady hot shower. Close to restos and fun times. Washer and dryer in the hotel made it convenient. Lots of spots to do online work in the lobby. Rooftop bar and resto also served good food. Overall, staff were helpful and customer focused. Shout out to Nicole for pointing out the nearest gyms in the area.
