The room was fine, basic but no major complaints. There was air conditioning in the room which was adequate to cool the room, it did struggle a small bit on the warmer days (30 C) of my stay. Basic breakfast available was okay too. The location was amazing, right in the middle of Shinjuku in Tokyo. Everything in Shinjuku was just a short walk away and the hotel also managed to be quiet at night. Excellent location and a discount price too. Would recommend for a cheap, convenient stay in Shinjuku.

We really enjoyed our stay at Toyoko Inn Kabukicho. The room was clean, the staff was helpful, and the breakfast was convenient before heading out each day. The location is very central and close to transportation, restaurants, and nightlife. However, Kabukicho is definitely one of the rougher and busier parts of Tokyo, especially at night, so travelers should be aware of that. Despite the area, we still felt safe overall and had a great experience staying here.

Room was decent; breakfast was amazing. You can tell it’s a local inn rather than full of tourist. Room is decent, bathroom a bit on the simple side. Overall recommend for the cost.

Bed was hard, breakfast was basic but good enough for start the energy, location is about 20 min to Shinjuku Station, property is showing sign of wear out, staff was very helpful.

Breakfast options were not very international friendly or vegetarian friendly Overall, the price to amenities ratio was quite good. We enjoyed our stay in Shinjuku area a lot. Location is 100 on 10 for those who are looking for Tokyo vibes

Amazing hotel with great breakfast and 24 hours free tea/coffee and cold water dispenser. Rooms are clean, comfy and reasonable sizes. Staff is helpful.

The free breakfast was excellent and very nutritious. It's a bonus benefit especially when we need to go out early. There was no need to get quick breakfast at convenience stores.
