The Harbourview Chinese YMCA of HK is a good hotel for regular and family stays. We had booked a room that fits three of us for our July'26 holiday trip to HK. Turns out the hotel only placed an extra rollaway bed at the corner of the room which made the room a tight squeeze. The room was decent and well appointed but I had no space to sit to do any work. Turns out there is absolutely no space in the hotel with a desk; there are two computers in the lobby but with only standing room. I found tables and chairs on the Mez floor, was able to use one of them, but was chased away. This hotel is definitely not business-traveler friendly. The housekeeping staff was very friendly, courteous, and attentive, offering to update our linens daily; had we not hung our DND tag at the door, they would have cleaned our room daily. The bell staff was also friendly, helpful, and eager to provide assistance offering umbrellas on frequent rainy days. The front-desk staff's service was however just mediocre, had no answers, and provided no follow-up nor follow-through about using a table/chair for business work. Overall, The Harbourview is doable for holiday travelers with max two people to a room which is decently sized and accesorized. Service was above average minus the front-desk staff.

Really attentive staff and cleaning team, and the receptionist was really helpful, joining up my two separate bookings into one (I was travelling for work and then extending for leisure aftereard) so I didn't have to change rooms. And great location too. Would recommend.

Great place to stay for a few days and explore the city. Well situated and easy to get to via Grab from the transit station. We arrived early and were very pleasantly surprised to get early check in. Thank you!

Staff were all extremely helpful and professional throughout my stay. Incredible views from the 21st floor. As a solo traveller, I was very grateful that they changed my room from twin beds to double bed - which was so comfortable. Thank you for the hospitality, will be back!

Clean room, size is large base on HK standard, close to public transport options (bus and mtr within walking distance)

The hotel room was very clean and comfy. There were limited amenities staff were pleasant.

Decent breakfast buffet

The room is old apparently if you get the ‘Plus’ room it’s renovated if not than you get the left over appliances, worn out towels and old furnitures. I got the Harbourview not renovated room. The view is good. But in the late afternoon the glass windows outside is condensation with humidity so haha you cannot see clear view of the harbour.
