Super clean room and beautiful view

Bed was very uncomfortable. Thought we had two beds was one bed and couch.

We arrived to the hotel and found that it did look anything like the lovely clean and bright pictures we had seen listed. It was dark, and there were several stains dotted around the apartment from walls to sofa to carpet. This had already put us off, and then we opened the bathroom door to be greeted by the smell of raw sewage coming up from the drains. Due to arriving after an International flight, we made do and stayed for 1 out of the 2 nights booked. The next morning the smell had become 10x worse and was filling the apartment. I no longer felt comfortable staying here when I had paid over £160 for 2 nights, I expected far better, and booked myself into another hotel up to road to enjoy the last night of our stay in Fukuoka there. Along side this, we were greeted with very lacking kichen supplies, one kitchen knife, 4 spoons, a plate, 2 glasses and a pot come pan. No oil, no utensils to cook with. Other than the location and easy check-in / out I would unfortunately not recommend this property

The room was clean, and while the draft and noise from the heat pump above the bed were a bit bothersome, its functionality was otherwise satisfactory. The motorcycle noise from the street at night was quite inconvenient. Although it was stated in their policy, I was a little disappointed to be asked for an extra fee just to store a long-term guest's luggage for about two hours after check-out. In the end, I took my luggage at the check-out time and used a locker at the station.

Spacious. Good locations.

Great location! Easy access! Walking distance from Higashi-Hie Train station. Spotless clean and organized. I love this place! Thank you so much for everything Grand Residence Hotel Hakata!

Easy access to a station, a couple of convenience stores within 3 min walk, and the room was roomier than a typical hotel room in Japan. It’s a plus that the washing machine was in the unit. I wish there were two packets of detergent so I could wash colors and whites separately. The only thing is that there was no email address available, only a phone number, if I wanted to contact the management. My phone plan doesn’t have a free Int’l call to local numbers so having email to contact would make things much easier.

Well kept property both outside and inside the room. The comfort room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable bed. It included a small kitchen with a sink, stove top, microwave, kettle, rice cooker, knives, bowls, plates, cutlery and cups. Adjoining the shower/tub area was also a washer, bonus. The only hiccup was checking in which was resolved with a quick response thru email. Close to Hakata Station about 15 minute walk and all the usual convenience stores and eateries close by. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a very comfortable stay.

It was awkward trying to check in on the screen, but once in the property was nice and clean.

Good
