I always thought of myself as someone who likes to try new hotels and not repeat one I already stayed at. The Whisky has made me rethink that rule. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and look forward to a repeat. The atmosphere is great. Breakfast at the rooftop is a great way to start the day. The lobby, hallways and my room were all stunning. Perfect stay.

We stayed at the Whisky for two nights. The first night was pretty good although we really didn’t enjoy having to use valet for parking. Breakfast was on the roof and was pretty good. The second night we didn’t get much sleep at all. The walls are thin and the neighbors were super noisy. We did talk to the front desk who gave us a small compensation but it wasn’t a pleasant experience. We didn’t feel safe walking around outside the hotel at all. It’s a sketchy area.

This hotel is such a hidden gem. It has speakeasy vibes, gold accents and great staff! Beds were comfy, roof top patio was amazing and the location of the item was perfect. Can’t wait to go back. First time in Hollywood and this hotel made it memorable.

The staff and the unique ambiance of the Whisky were the best parts about our experience. From the welcome sample of whisky at the front desk to the friendly service from check-in to our dining experience, we would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the Hollywood area. The roof top bar has great unobstructed views of the Hollywood sign and Griffith observatory. It is situated within a 10 minute walk between two Metro stations (Hollywood/Vine and Hollywood/Highland) so getting around with public transportation is a breeze (and frugal)! Universal Studios/City Walk is 1-2 Metro stops away and area tours leave from this general area so you are surrounded by things to see and do. For anyone traveling here for the first time, while you do walk down the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame to get to this hotel, it does have a large homeless population and the streets are dirty and a little sketchy. This hotel was in great shape considering how run down Hollywood is. We opted not to venture out too late at night and had dinner at the on-site restaurant which was fantastic. For anyone driving in, there is parking available off the street in a secure parking structure. The place feels safe and inviting. Only downside we noted was the lack of options included in the breakfast. Eggs, sausage, toast, pastries, apples, bananas, coffee amd juice. Not bad but not much either.

Amazing reception desk staff....friendly, professional, etc. Rooftop nice for the view, terrible fitness area. Great location. Absolutely stay again.

Perfect location, great and helpful staff, clean hotel and spacious rooms. The only let down was the breakfast which was very average.

The location of the hotel was very convenient. The room was small but well laid out and comfortable. Breakfast was horrible but the roof top had great views of the Hollywood sign and other landmarks.
