Very little info or photos so we just booked and hoped. Very pleased with almost everything and would have rated higher but for 2 things. Main issue was the wi fi which was poor and unreliable. The other was the lack of streaming setup with the TV. The set was fine but who watches only free to air TV? The unit was very spacious and mainly in very good condition. Excellent location and reasonably priced. Would we re book? Maybe one night only because the wi fi is a major issue for us and probably the vast majority of other people.

The location is great - very close to the tram stops and within walking distance to The Corner Hotel if you are staying to attend a concert of any sort. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Cost was reasonable. The apartment was lovely and clean.

Was fine. Good location. Quiet.

Night manager was phoned due to late check in then turned phone off and was ignored. Next morning our accommodation was cancelled due to apparent aggression which was incorrectly reported and we were left to fend for ourselves without any accommodation organised which caused stress and anxiety and wrecked our weekend I will never recommend Richmond apartments to anyone.

Check in was easy. Renovations at the time we checked in. Shelf under TV unit was damaged and reported straight away. Easy parking. Good nightly rate for parking. Close to CBD of Melbourne and very close distance to the MCG. Room pricing was a big steep but overall the accommodation was excellent.

I have read all the reviews for the last 7 months and we were hoping they were one offs. But we experienced all of them. Generally the room was dirty, almost everything was broken or damaged and it was easy to tell they had been that way for sometime. Given that these complaints date back at least 7 months (I gave up reading them after that!) And none of these concerns have been addressed. We stayed here two years ago and had no such problems. It demonstrates how far down they have down in maintenance and service. We agreed we will not stay here again. There is much better accommodation in the area, which is the only attraction to this place. It could have been a pleasant stay if basic maintenance and cleaning were addressed. The pillows were cheap and almost non existent with only one each. The bed was ultra lumpy and soft, extremely uncomfortable. To flush the toilet you needed to have the strength of ten people. Almost broke my thumb. Cutlery and crockery was dirty and chipped. Weird stains on the floor, broken power points. Don’t stay here if you are looking for clean basic accommodation

The apartment is fully self contained and at a good quality standard. Only a minor issue with the induction cooktop being difficult to activate

Richmond Central Apartments are great value for money. I cook my own breakfast every morning and all the utensils etc, that I needed, were there. The location is convenient to trams. The train station is 20min walk away. The Richmond Traders shopping centre with Coles, an independent grocer and other specialty food outlets is just a few minutes walk along Richmond Road. There is plenty of free street parking from 5pm to 9am, if you are happy to go a 100+m north along Lennox St.

Staff arranged early check in (11am) due to hospital discharge and helped with luggage, thank you so much.
