It’s dated and carpet needs a good cleaning because it smells from age

Hotel Select Inn Aomori is an older hotel that feels like it needs some updating. However their service was excellent. We had breakfast included, they let us take a different bun everyday and one night provided a simple supper service as the local restaurants were all closed due to a holiday.

Pobyt w pojedynkę

Booked this hotel as it was the last available room in town! (There was a big event on when I went to Aomori.) Hotel is a bit of a walk from the main drag, but nothing too outrageous. There are two conbini close by. The rooms are mostly well-kept, but very old and run down. The bathroom was tiny. Wi-fi was patchy at best - I ended up hotspotting off my phone most of the time I was there.

staff is friendly and the location is ok-ish, about 10 mins walk to the station and shops. decent free breakfast is also a plus. the room and general area were really old and do not feel clean. ok for one night but don't think I will stay here again.
