It is a nice little place near the Beach. The Garden is beautiful and the Inn is very welcoming! The room was clean and it was quiet at night.

Carmel Green Lantern Inn is a beautiful, fairytale-like place with so much charm and character. The location is excellent and close to many attractions, including the entrance to 17-Mile Drive, downtown Carmel, shops, restaurants, and the beach. The rooms were clean, and the entire property and surrounding grounds were very well maintained. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The only thing that would have made the experience even better would be having breakfast available at the inn and also more parking space. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would gladly recommend it to anyone visiting Carmel-by-the-Sea.

The room was perfect for our family of five, which can sometimes be difficult to find unless renting a house. The property was beautiful and clean but expect only basic amenities. Super walkable! Only a short walk to the beach and close to many restaurants and shops in town. After we arrived and parked, we didn’t get back in our car until we were leaving town.
