No roadside access to hotel without taking a black cab. The hotel is in the red route blocked zone. Entering with luggage from a regular car is not possie

Staff were very good and very helpful, they are let down by Ibis. It took us 4 rooms to get one where everything worked. 2 rooms we couldn’t access as the key pad didn’t work, (it wasn’t us, the staff tried too) 1 room tv was broken, 4th was okay but then the hairdryer blew up, Staff replaced it. The rooms were very clean. If you book a twin room, the beds are made up as singles but are still together.

Hotel is a little tired. We had a huge cobweb with resident spider above the bed. Bathroom floor wasn’t the cleanest.

Can't really fault the property itself but the card keys that you need to get in room lifts pretty much everywhere hardly ever worked had to go to reception a few times because we couldn't get in our room.Quite a few guests we spoke to had the same issue.

Clean cool room, air con is easy to use & very efficient. Shower is roomy & plenty of hot water Lovely white smooth linen, spare pillows available. Thick curtains Good size tv perfectly positioned for ease of watching when in bed! There is an ironing room on the 7th floor which was so useful.

I have stayed here several times en-route to Heathrow and have never been disappointed. Always a friendly welcome, rooms are clean and tidy and breakfast is excellent with so much choice. I couldn’t ask for any more….. so thank you!

Very close to the railway station which is why i chose it, only about 5 minutes away at a steady walk. Reading town centre only a few minutes walk away. Hotel was very clean and modern, breakfast was brilliant, everything you would expect. Staff where brilliant nothing too much trouble. Would definitely stay there again.
