Nothing Grand about this Grand Hyatt. In a country with abundance of warmth and solid hospitality, this was a strange outlier at the end of our trip. Poor Service across the board Super unwelcoming staff Average breakfast in terms of spread and quality Tiny bathrooms Overall seemed understaffed Very to the point - 3.5 starish attitude overall. Disappointing to say the least. @Grand Hyatt as a brand this affects you more than the hotel which seems to be doing well. I’ll think many times before booking another Grand Hyatt knowing usually it’s a fairly solid product. But maybe there is no brand oversight.

The property is clean and beautiful. In our room the main door stuck and was very difficult to open and close without a loud noise. The bathroom door lock didn't work and we couldn't keep the bathroom door closed. We planned to use the shuttle service however when we arrived at the port with our family there was no one waiting and we were told it would be at least 40 minutes before we could be picked up. (Our shuttle to the airport the next day was early, clean and very nice.) We reserved the "deluxe family suite" which is 2 connected rooms-- they were both very nice and spacious. Our check in was at 3:00 however our second room wasn't ready until 5:00 (we were there at 3:30 waiting) and we had to call and wait for the door to be opened between rooms and to get a rollaway bed that had been confirmed prior to the stay to be brought in and set up. We weren't fully in both rooms with the bed until 6:00. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal but we were traveling with small children which made this process pretty stressful. There were a couple of very large groups checking in around the same time which I think added to the delays so this might not be a typical experience.

The hotel is out of the way of the Plaka, the Acropolis and Monasterky. Buffet breakfast was excellent. The free shuttle to the Acropolis area was decent.

We picked this hotel because of the adult infinity pool and the view of the Acropolis which did not disappoint however there were kids at the pool and this was not enforced. The Front Desk staff was fabulous as they were a professional and friendly. but everyone else was not Our refrigerator didn't work and we had to order ice twice a day. I felt like I was in downtown Baltimore city as there were strip clubs and sex shops nearby but that did not bother me. If I stayed in Athens again, I would stay at a smaller boutique hotel closer to the Acropolis.

One of the best breakfast buffets. The view of the ocean on one side and the acropolis on the other can't be beat. Great staff and the assortment of high quality of food choices would make us come back.

Hôtel près de 2 autobus touristiques ( big bus et sightseeing). Se rendre à Athènes à pied peut être long et fastidieux, mais revenir d’Athènes vers l’hôtel se fait quand même bien. Nous avions tendance à prendre un transport pour l’aller et revenions à pied. Le personnel de l’hôtel est gentil et accueillant. Les chambres sont confortables et ont une bonne grandeur. Le principal atout de l’hôtel est sa piscine, terrasse et restaurant sur le toit, la vue y est exceptionnelle. Le buffet déjeuner est très bon et généreux, il y a beaucoup de choix et tout ce que nous avons goûté était très bon.
