Safe, quiet, clean, homely. Good enough for me. One thing to know is that there’s no elevator, so beware for those with big luggages.

Room was clean but a little smelly? If you're a medium-large to large human, the bathroom and shower are gonna be cramped. The stairs to the second floor are incredibly steep and shallow and scary when carrying a suitcase.

Alleenstaand verblijf · Voor zaken en plezier

Absolutely perfect. I needed a quick one night stay, walking distance from Kyoto Station and it had everything I needed. The room is small but no bigger than it needs to be when you just want a bed to fall asleep on after a long journey. The owner met me at the door, welcomed me in, gave me a tour and was generally very helpful and friendly. I'd definitely stay again.

Well I like that everything was close to the station. A lot of great restaurants, shops, convenient stores, and beautiful sights. Over all I would come back for sure.

Kitchenette shown in pictures is a shared one and not particularly clean. Room so small that suitcases would need to be stored outside of room when futons deployed, Bathroom tiny cubicle in corner, Room facilities quoted on tiny table at floor level in corner and not very useable. No clothing storage. Air conditioning did not work. To sum up totally uninhabitable for a couple. Checked out after five minutes in room and lost my money.
