I would like to express my disappointment with an interaction I had with one of your staff members. During my stay, I was approached and questioned in a manner that made me feel as though I was being accused of violating hotel policies. Rather than first verifying the details of my reservation, assumptions were made that left me feeling embarrassed and disrespected. I understand that staff members have a responsibility to enforce hotel policies, but those conversations should be handled professionally and with the benefit of the doubt. Guests should never feel as though they are being treated with suspicion without cause. Up until this interaction, my experience had been very positive. Unfortunately, this incident significantly changed my impression of the hotel. I believe every guest deserves to be treated with courtesy, respect, and professionalism throughout their entire stay. Their kitchen, dining and living room areas are useful but the best thing about our stay was actually a restaurant that's 1/2 a block away called Maria Langosta. I highly recommend it for their great staff, quality, taste and value of their food. On the weekends they have a Barbacoa vendor outside that was really good & everyday they have a feuit vendor that's good too. It's also a few blocks from the Metro and the neighborhood is quiet and feels safe at any hour. The rooms have no AC, the private bathrooms have 1/2 doors that don't offer any privacy.

I have a very serious complaint about one of your staff members here. We just checked out of the two rooms we had from the 13th to the 17th. Since checkout was less than half an hour away, we moved our luggage into our new room, which we have reserved from the 17th to the 20th, so housekeeping could begin cleaning the previous rooms. While I was bringing our luggage into the new room, one of your staff members asked me how many people were going to be staying in this room. Confused, I answered that there would be two people and asked why he was asking. He told me that if more people were staying, he would have to charge me extra. I asked him again if I had made my reservations incorrectly. Our previous reservations were for three people in Room 108 and four people in Room 302. This reservation, in Room 102, was made for two people. He replied that he was just informing me. However, I find it extremely unprofessional that he would ask such an offensive question without first knowing the details of our reservation. It made me feel as though he was accusing me of trying to cheat the hotel by sneaking extra people into the room. I just rented two rooms for a total of seven people, & then booked an additional room for two more people because we're staying a few extra days. How could he possibly assume that I was trying to cheat the hotel? Everything had been going very well until this moment. Now I'm seriously considering canceling this last reservation & moving elsewhere!

No es un hotel convencional, es una casa con cuartos independientes. Tiene una cocina y algunos otros espacios compartidos. Los cuartos son austeros (no hay TV, aire acondicionado, etc), pero muy limpios. La localización es excelente. Muy recomendado para viaje de negocios cuando el presupuesto es ajustado.

Location is fantastic, staff is friendly and helpful, rooms are clean, kitchen offers everything you need to cook and dozens of restaurants nearby give every reason not to. The only reason I took 1 star of is MOSQUITOES. Without a net on windows you have to seal the room for the night, which does not rhyme well with the human need to breathe. Still, if I survived for 2 weeks, it is definitely possible.

A wonderfully comfortable stay with simple yet homely accomodations. A friendly and safe environment with plenty of options that's easily accessible.
