Simple amenities, great location in the heart of Trestevere, quiet street only a block away from restaurants shops bars

Breakfast was amazing, rooms were clean and the staff were very helpful. Location provided easy to access to restaurants bars and quick access to the sights of Rome.

Great location but also an island of calm amidst the broader hubbub. The staff was welcoming, engaging, and attentive. The breakfast table was loaded with goodies and a stylish cappuccino was made by request. Adequate, somewhat dated room furnishings great for the price.

The best aspect of Hotel Trastevere is its location in the heart of Trastevere within five to ten minute walk to restaurants, the Basilica, the Tiber. A downside is that it can be noisy. On our Friday night stay, it didn't quiet down till about midnight. The morning manager was outstanding. When our airport transfer (which the hotel had arranged) didn't show, she went into action. She called a cab for us and got us on our way within a few minutes. I've been in hotels where the front desk shrugs its shoulders when things go wrong. She was the opposite - she took control of the situation and helped us remain calm at the same time. The room was basic and wasn't in great repair. The light over the bathroom mirror was out, the smaller button to flush the toilet didn't work (we could use the larger flush button - so it wasn't a disaster, the safe didn't have directions and neither we nor the person at the reception desk knew what to do. The room had a good bed and adequate AC. We paid $500 for one night. Perhaps the room rates for late May in Rome are that high but it wasn't a $500 per night hotel.

Such a gem to stay at in Rome. Loved being in Trastevere close to amazing restaurants and walking distance to main sites. Trastevere is loud and busy at night, but the street of the hotel is quiet. The staff are so friendly and breakfast was so nice to have cappuccino and various fresh cornetto. Also have hard boiled eggs and various meats and cheeses. Can’t say enough about the staff. So friendly and make it feel like home.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The room was smaller than we thought, but it was very clean and well kept up. The location was excellent.

Clean room, excellent service staff and also includes breakfast. Next to great restaurants and bars, highly recommended!
