Absolutely wonderful hotel. Comfortable beds, great location, amazing staff! The beautiful rooftop and cicon bakery were added bonuses! I ate there everyday for breakfast and loved the selection.

Room is big for Japan hotel standard. Breakfast is available on site. A bit pricy but ok if you are in a pinch. Staff very helpful. Great location near sites and Gion st.

Stop reading reviews and book this hotel! Best atmosphere, most friendly, caretaking, polite, and simply nice staff! Food is incredible. The music, the smell, the facilities are all curated to “feel great”. They do not ask for reviews online, they ask you to reflect about your feelings and write it down on a piece of paper so that they add it to their travel log. It is just an incredible place to live and fell Kyoto.
PS: No, I am not getting paid for this review. It is simply that good!

We stayed at multiple properties during our trip to Japan. This was by far our favorite. The hotel team is extremely friendly and welcoming. The rooms are modern and large. The bakery and rooftop bar are gems. Highly recommend this property!
