Alleenstaand verblijf

This feels like a cozy boutique hotel where the front desk already knows your name. It’s wonderfully located and full of character. The staff were friendly and helpful from beginning to end. My room was small, but it had AC and plenty of charm. The only downside is the lack of an elevator, if you have mobility issues, this might not be the best fit. Otherwise, the staff were great about helping with luggage. I highly recommend this place and would happily return.

Excellent location for most of the central attractions in Rome as most of them are walkable. Hotel is really clean and the mosaics on the floors and walls are stunning. This was our second stay at this hotel and would defo consider it again for whenever we go back. The hotel owners as generally onsite who are super friendly, and keen to help with any questions and local advice as well.

This gem of a hotel is right by the Colosseum and Roman Forum but doesn’t feel touristy. Lots of quality restaurants nearby, from small take away pizza to Michelin star Aroma. We were never disappointed. Our room was lovely on the first floor. We never heard street noises and just a little bit of hallway sounds. The morning breakfast was a nice treat to start the day in a quaint basement area. We loved all the art, mosaic tiles in the flooring, and helpful staff. Only thing of note is that you cannot control the air conditioning from the room, which some days we wished we could from being out in the hot weather all day. Otherwise, a great hotel in a favorable location. oseum

Verbleef met kinderen

We are so happy we booked here. The staff was so helpful and always happy to see us. The rooms are a bit small but they are clean, well maintained, and cozy. We loved being so close to the Collesseum and the metro. We had no problems getting anywhere fast and without needing a taxi or tour. We traveled with an infant and always felt safe and cared for. And again, the staff is seriously the best!!

Celio is within walking distance of the colosseum - and that’s its highlight. The entire hotel has an ancient roman decor and is part of the whole vibe of the city. The staff are kind and helpful. The breakfast is also unfortunately for us, very much Italian (read : spartan). Not their fault but we just happen to enjoy big hearty breakfasts.

This is a very nice hotel which is located about two blocks from the Colosseum. Our room was beautiful. It was well appointed and spacious for European standards.The area has nice restaurants. And the breakfast at the hotel was great. If you’re looking for a place to stay down in this area, you can’t go wrong with this hotel. One word of advice if you would like an airport shuttle, be sure to contact them well in advance. However, the express train into Roma termini provides a pretty easy access to the hotel either by walking if you don’t have too much luggage or taxi if you do.
