Posizione molto bella e ottimamente servita. L’ostello un po’ troppo costoso per una famiglia. Pulizia (odore) delle camere un po’ sotto l’aspettativa. Colazione ottima come l’ospitalità.

Sehr servicefreundliches und hilfsbereite Personal. Sehr gutes Abendessen, frisch und liebevoll zubereitet. Sehr gutes und reichhaltiges Frühstück. Hoch zufrieden.

Für eine Übernachtung gut

Pros:location is ok (15 min walk to centre) nice outdoor and restaurant area. Clean. Cons: the room is like a sauna in summer as its so small and is in the roof with a sky light. Overpriced for a bunk bed and shared bathroom. No kitchen. The shower turns off after about a minute but you can just keep pressing the button.

Pour un prix honéreux en tant que françaises, une chambre petite sans même un petit savon ou des échantillons. Wifi faible voire inexistant par endroits dans la chambre Propre Sanitaires collectifs Salle de petit déjeuner avec pas mal d’attente pour se servir et aucune place en terrasse pour une bonne dizaine de personnes Bonne ambiance

C'est un superbe endroit et les hôtes sont sympathiques

Une auberge de jeunesse très famille avec jeunes enfants à 15 minutes à pieds du très joli centre moyen-ageux de Stein et de son abbaye. Au pied des vignes et du château lui aussi très joli, avec son restaurant panoramique sur le lac de Constance. Pas de cuisine pour se faire à manger mais une cafétéria aux horaire de Suisse (18h30). Parking payant à l’auberge comme tout autour (parcmètres)

My group of 4 stayed at this hostel during the Meeting Friends Mega event. We were bumped up from a 4 person room to a 6 person room for no extra charge. We did have to pay a parking fee per day, which ended up being meaningless since other guests (who did not pay) took our designated parking spot anyway. When we explained the problem to the hotel staff we were immediately refunded the CHF we paid without any further discussion. The hostel was very comfortable with laundry facilities and entertainment on the bottom floor, daily breakfast / guest services on the first floor, and showers and bathroom facilities on the 2nd floor. The shower did automatically shut off after ~15 seconds, but this was implemented as a water saving measure. To keep the flow running strong and hot, simply bump the shower button every 10 seconds and all is well. Given the comfortable hostel setting, the reasonable prices for the area, the great breakfast spread, and the very kind hotel staff we were extremely pleased with our visit. I would recommend this hostel to other travelers without hesitation and would plan to stay again as well, next time I just happen to be through the area.

Two-day excursion to see the "young" Rhine River where it leaves Lake Constance. The Friendly and homely service- self-service refectory-style breakfast plentiful and fresh. Beds comfortable and everything absolutely spotless. Reception hours only from 5pm, so best to plan arrival time accordingly. Youth Hostel 15 minutes walk from the old town along the river bank path - peaceful, light on the water romantic -beautiful, atmospheric medieval town, well preserved and restored.
