I can't fault the location or the staff. They were great. But the bathroom was tiny and not terribly well maintained, the room was dated with uncomfortable furniture and the bed was pretty uncomfortable too. There are cheaper places with much nicer rooms only a little further from the CBD.

It is ok. Beds and pillows are a bit hard. The new renovated rooms look good. They need curtains over the wooden louvres. It was quiet at night.

The hotel staff was very helpful and polite. The hotel corridors has a musky smell hidden by over perfumed air fresheners The shower was terrible

Staff at check in/reception were great. Our room was very clean and the beds were good. Bathroom is falling apart and needs improving, I believe the shower in the bathtub is an accident waiting to happen. Hotel seems to have started renovations but it has a long way to go. I do Not recommend the buffet breakfast. The black Adidas tracksuit wearing lady that greeted us for breakfast was unprofessional, miserable and never said one word. The restaurant is dirty, dead plants, filthy windows, a lonely fish in a dirty tank, cold food (that was probably never hot to begin with) and zero atmosphere. Hotel is in a great location.

Check in was fast, room was clean, door lock was hanging on by a screw, I can see the hotel has done some maintenance but wow, they still have a lot of work to do. Do NOT use the hotel breakfast, I was greeted by a (unfriendly) lady wearing a black adidas tracksuit, I should have known it was only going to get worse, she couldn’t find my name so she handed me the list of all guest names and rooms (confidentiality breach) I was then told to go to reception, paid my $20 and back I went, the dining room needs to be closed down and cleaned, a dead plant stood in the corner next to a filthy fish tank with one fish just wanting to die. The breakfast was a very basic, no dining plates just small bread and butter plates, i guess they don’t want you to eat much. Hotel is in a great position and has so much potential, do better and please don’t recommend the breakfast buffet.
