Verbleven bij familie

Great location in Insadong; good breakfast options. Nice restaurant on site (Sapporo). Close to two metro lines. Rooms are decent size - not big, but not tiny. Good value for money. Convenient market next door.

I always choose Amid hotel because of its location and the amazing staff. If you enjoy the cultural sights in Seoul, you have to stay in this area. The hotel location close to the subway and major bus routes makes it ideal. There’s a short walk to the airport limo bus but it is paved, level and easy walking. The staff at Amid hotel are so helpful and accommodating. There’s the usual list of hotel amenities that they loan out if needed. They store baggage and help with taxis and directions. The staff speak good English and other languages too. The room is spacious (for big city standards), comfortable, clean and well maintained. This was my second stay and I look forward to coming back again soon.

Given the rating and expense, I was a bit disappointed with my stay. The best thing about the hotel was its location near a key subway line and many tourist hotspots (including the beautiful restored urban river, Cheonggyecheon, Jogyesa Buddhist temple and Insadong’s cool alleys and shops). But the twin room was dreary and cramped, the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor, and the sink sprayed water all over the bathroom counter. It may be that we did not know how to navigate the small space - it’s central Seoul after all, space is a premium- but for the price I expected more.

The Amid's location is in a very pedestrian friendly neighborhood, allowing easy access to lots of historical and cultural sight seeing, shopping and many food venues. The hotel is very clean, comfortable, quiet and has a friendly and accommodating staff.

Great location, friendly staff, hotel was clean and didn’t smell like smoke. We got the best sleep of our two week vacation at this hotel. Will be staying here again for sure when we come back.
