Close to the station so huge luggage is semi easy to cart to and from The staff were friendly, the town knew limited English so learning some Japanese is a must

The room is good. The chech in is the tipical machine check-in, very unfriendly. Breakfast, so so. Staff is friendly. Th bed and pillows are very hard.

My favorite hotel from my trip with a great breakfast to go with! Amazing room with a nice walkable area outside and very close to the train station. Would stay again!

I only stayed for one night - I was heading to the second round of the D1GP in Okuibuki the next day. The staff were polite, and handed me the tickets I had forwarded to meet me three. Thank you.

The property was very clean and close to the train station. Breakfast was offered every morning. The staff were very friendly. The bed and pillows were very. The internet was quite slow and very spotty that was very disappointing.

Location: 5 mins from the station so an easy walk.
Staff: they were friendly and helpful.
Hotel: standard Toyoko inn so clean, and has everything you need for a nice stay including breakfast which has a nice variety so you’ll find something you like.
Room: typical style for this chain hotel. Clean, fresh, with bathroom and shower unit. These rooms are the typical size which is fine.bed was comfortable.
Food etc was all about 5 mins away. Plenty around the train station for people to enjoy.
Hikone castle was an easy 15 ish minute walk away. The view at the castle was simply breathtaking as it looks out over the city but also Lake Biwa and it was a beautiful day so the view was amazing and it’s HIGHLY worth the visit just for the view. Castle and grounds will look amazing soon coming into spring as they have a plum orchard as well as cherry blossoms.
Highly recommend the hotel and Hikone.

The staff was extremely helpful and the laundry facility on site was great. Only taking a star off because the beds were very stiff and I did wake up a couple times due to the trains coming in and out of the station. That said 5 minute walk to the station after a free breakfast in the morning was great!
