The room had everything we needed, including a garden view balcony. We used the kitchen every day to make eggs for breakfast - it was a pleasant surprise to have a gas hob. My only quibble would be the lack of responsiveness from the staff. We asked for another cup to fit under the Nespresso machine (this was great!), and also requested a plug for the kitchen sink. Neither ever arrived. I ended up doing the dishes in the large cooking pot :) But overall it was a great stay - right next to Flagstaff Station, but very quiet at night. Would stay again.

Angel was fantastic!

Room was very clean. The staff were extremely helpful. We will definitely book again!

Great location with Tram stop within Free Tram Zone just outside; QV Market - one block away; Southern Cross Station a 10min walk. Finding a place with washing machine and dryer plus 24-hr desk reception is rare.

I stayed at Avani Jazz Melbourne for six nights to celebrate my birthday. When I booked the hotel back in April through Hotels.com, I sent a message asking if it would be possible to have a room with a nice view since it was a special trip. They replied thanking me for choosing them to celebrate my birthday and said they would do their best to accommodate my request. Since I booked several months in advance, I thought that would be enough time to note it. When I arrived around 6:00 a.m. after travelling overnight, I asked if I could check in early. The receptionist told me there was a $120 fee, which would cover both the early check-in and an upgrade to a room with a view. Since I was exhausted, I agreed. When I mentioned my earlier request, she said there was nothing about it in their system, so I had to show her the message from April before she could find it. The room itself could have been cleaner. The exhaust vent above the shower was missing its cover and was completely covered in dust and lint, like it hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. Another small issue was the no housekeeping, shouldn’t apply for stays longer than 4 day, so there was no collection of rubbish or changing sheets or towels. The staff were friendly, and the location was great, but for a birthday trip and after paying an extra $120 for early check-in and a room upgrade, I honestly expected a better overall experience.

Great people and communication prior to and during stay. Nothing a problem. Very happy with cleanliness and was exactly what I expected. Thoroughly recommend.

A larger than expected studio apartment on the 30th floor with great views over Melbourne. and Flagstaff gardens. Would highly recommend

Great quiet location on the North west corner of Melbourne city. Easy to walk or tram around. The Hotel was clean and adequately appointed but the staff made it a great stay - helping with directions and suggestions.

Wifi password randomly changes and all devices disconnect, so frequently have to go ask for the new password.

Staff at the front desk were awesome. Especially the young man working on the front desk in the afternoon/evening when i stayed there.I cant remember his name unfortunately. Anyway all staff were friendly, extremely helpful and efficient. I had a terrific stay thank you. Only gripe is the king bed is 2 beds clumsily attached to each other. Like we wouldnt notice? 😁😁Easy fix. I will request a queen bed next time. Other than that 9.5/10
