Nice place to stay in Kyoto! Good location, small kitchenette was great. Made breakfast every day in the room. Quiet location and room. Would stay there again.

The hotel staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. However, the hotel is quite dated and the decor is flat and tired. The hotel is close to Kyoto station - a 15 minute walk or so. Overall, I think other Stay Sakura hotels in Kyoto are nicer and so would probably choose to stay in a different Stay Sakura hotel in future.

Nice property but out of the way for tourist activities and shopping. It is in the middle of a local neighbourhood. You will hear nothing at night.
