My stay at the Grand Hotel Praha was absolutely exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm hospitality, professional service, and attention to detail provided by the entire staff. The hotel is beautifully maintained, combining historic charm with modern comfort in a way that makes every guest feel special. The room was spacious, spotless, and elegantly appointed, with breathtaking views that made the experience even more memorable. Every aspect of the stay exceeded my expectations—from the comfortable accommodations and excellent amenities to the delicious breakfast and outstanding customer service. The location is perfect for exploring Prague, with many of the city's most iconic attractions just steps away. Returning to the hotel each evening felt like coming back to a peaceful retreat in the heart of the city. What truly sets the Grand Hotel Praha apart is its commitment to creating an unforgettable guest experience. The staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure that every need was met with genuine care and professionalism. I would highly recommend the Grand Hotel Praha to anyone visiting Prague and look forward to staying there again in the future. It was truly a five-star experience in every sense.

What a beautiful hotel! The breakfast is wonderful also. It is right across the way from the famous Astronomical clock. We enjoyed that but the area can get very very busy. The windows are doubled so it was relatively quiet.

This hotel is a very special, unique hotel, right in front of the Astronomical Clock. It doesn’t get any better than this location. It was a magnificent stay in the Apostolic Suite. But, there are some issues with access to this suite and other suites in this building as well. It’s all upstairs in a separate building from the main part of the hotel about 50 yards away with no elevator. So, if you have mobility issues then this is not a good choice. Also, inside the suite, our bathroom has stairs to get to the shower and toilet. Otherwise, this large suite is a romantic, gorgeous room with several windows that open to the square. There’s no coffee/tea maker which is unusual for something this grand. There is a quaint restaurant in the main hotel that is where breakfast, lunch, and dinner is offered. The breakfast buffet needs some improvement, there’s only one coffee machine when there should be minimum two, and the offerings are less than other hotels of this caliber. It was a wonderful experience staying here in this hotel but I will also add that being it’s right in the square where vehicles are not allowed. It’s quite a ways to walk with large luggage on cobblestone, about 300 yards from the taxi cab stopping point. There are so many options to eat right outside your door that are fantastic. This is a very busy location but for us it was very special location as well. Grocery markets are close as well. I would definitely recommend and consider staying here again.

This is a great hotel in the best location in the old square - right across from the astronomical clock. You can have breakfast while looking right at the clock. This is an older building, but well maintained. Walking distance to all the main attractions. The rooms were clean and staff friendly.

Extremely quiet considering it was across from the astronomical clock in Old Town Square.

The one thing that I have an issue with is the shower, not a good idea. It was a hand held shower head.

We booked a standard room, and when we arrived we were advised that it was in an older building further up the street. From the entrance to our room, there were approximately 100 stairs to climb (around 5 full staircases and 6 partial ones), some going up and some going down. There was no lift and we are in our 60s. Luckily our cases were light, but bear this in mind if you have health limitations. The room itself was spacious, clean and warm, with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was huge with a bath and shower head. There was a small fridge which was very noisy during the night, and the staff activities both inside and outside the building woke us up pretty early each day. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, and hot drinks from nearby cafes were very expensive. Breakfast was available in the main hotel building in a beautiful cafe, and was varied and plentiful. It is in a perfect place to walk to the main tourist attractions.

Awesome location

The room was amazing, more than hoped for. The breakfast very well layed out and delicious. The staff was wonderful and extremely friendly as well as helpful. Couldn’t have picked a better location to stay. Well done!
