Verbleven bij familie

About 1.2 km walk from the Venezia Mestre Central train station. Don't hang around this station and best to walk the 25 min to unit using Google Map. Or you can carry your luggage and catch the public bus No. 2, but be aware of pickpockets. I got my front pocket picked twice. The unit is a shared room with secured lock and key. The apartment is well secured and will require vi key access to come in. I had to ring the host since I arrived at noon, three hours prior to check in. Lucky the host was able to let me know remotely. The shopping centre, piazzia is close only about 500 m away and bus station to airport is about 700 m.

If my review were only about the room, I would give it an excellent rating. The room was very new, clean, and spacious. The only things missing were a small fridge and a safe or locker for valuables. There is no elevator, so if you have a lot of luggage like I did, be prepared to climb two flights of stairs to get to your room. Unfortunately, I didn’t pay enough attention when booking to notice that there is no physical check-in. The check-in process was a bit complicated, and I left several messages through Expedia inbox, where they provided their messages and was the platform being used for communication, but I never received a response from the hotel. I didn’t have access to a regular phone, only WhatsApp, and the hotel didn’t make any attempt to contact me there either. Overall, the room itself was great, but the lack of proper check-in and communication made the experience quite frustrating. Even instructions for check-out were not provided. Lesson learned: I’ll avoid this type of hotel in the future.

Chambre très propre et calme , très bien placé proche des commerces et de la place où tout le monde se retrouve. 20 minutes en bus de Venise .
