Very nice place to stay. Great views and perfect little apartment.

The accommodation was fantastic, the location has amazing scenery on the waters edge and great views of Tromso. It is about a 20 minute bus ride from the airport, so ideal.

The setting for the hotel is simply stunning and its easy to get to on a bus if you don't want to hire a car. We stayed in Reindeer which looked out toward Tromso so at night you have the lights in the distance, which is pretty but we would have preferred a view on the other side so it would be handy to understand that as you are booking. It is also upstairs and I didn't appreciate from the descriptions that its a two storey block with appartments. It was also stated that you are surrounded on three sides by water and its like being in a boat. I think you needed to be closer to the front of the block for that to apply. The appartment was nice but with a bit of better planning could be stunning. The kitchen is small and things like washing pots is tricky because there is not enough room. We also struggled as there was only one pasta bowl between two, no cereal bowls and a chipped plate. A big issue was no where to put your luggage or unpack any clothes. You do have a couple of chairs but in Reindeer they are facing the door not making the most of the view. Have no idea why the bed is so high off the ground - felt like sleeping in a bunk bed!! There is no provision for breakfast but there is a good supermarket about a mile away. I did read some reviews saying that this is a scam and I think that is completely unfair. Whilst its not perfect, its close.

good view , good location with cars

My stay at Steam Pier Adventure was excellent. I was traveling solo for work in Tromsø, but it would also be a fantastic place to bring my family. While it is not overly fancy, it is very well appointed, clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious. It had everything I needed and made for a really enjoyable stay.

Our stay was one night. The property was satisfactory and provided all necessary amenities. However, the bedroom was too small for a double bed and the rooms were not soundproofed. This made it difficult to sleep and was a significant disturbance. Parking was charged at 100 Kron per night and there were no alternative options. This felt somewhat forced.

We stayed for three nights. The curtain in the kitchen area was missing, so when people walked past they could see clearly inside, which affected privacy. There were no laundry facilities available for guests. Although we saw a laundry room on the premises, staff informed us that it was not for guest use. Access to laundry was one of the main reasons we chose this property, as we are travelling across several countries in Europe and needed washing facilities.

We stayed in the Aurora hut #1. We knew it would be small, but we were surprised to find that there was no shower and only a camping style toilet. Otherwise, the hut itself is very modern, the bed was very comfortable and the heat worked great.

Pros: Amazing views. Clean and comfortable. Bed was super comfy. Modern decor and all kitchen supplies provided. Helpful and kind staff. Our room had the most amazing wool blanket provided!! Cons: we stayed in seafront 4, there was no hot water for the shower. Sinks had super hot water but shower was barely warm. There is no place in the shower to put your toiletries. No shelf or anything. We stayed 5 nights and had been told there was laundry onsite, however there was not. No tv in the room. We had an extended stay and would have liked to have watched the Olympics from our room. Beautiful location, but it is about 15 to 20 minutes from the city center and a taxi one-way will cost you approximately $50. There is a bus line that runs in front of the hotel however, during our stay, it was snowing heavily so we opted not to use the bus. Not a lot of food options close by, but we did get delivery from a local pizza place.
