Room is very traditional we had twin tatami room. Convenient to all the places temples and a shopping area.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful stay at Hop Inn Asakusa! The hotel is clean, comfortable, and in a great location, making it easy to explore Tokyo’s attractions. What stood out the most was the staff—they were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a smile. Their kindness and hospitality made us feel at home throughout our stay. The rooms were well-maintained, and the overall experience was excellent. We highly recommend Hop Inn Asakusa and would gladly stay here again on our next trip to Japan. Convenient location

great staff, the rooms are clean with great ac after a long day outside! toilet a bit small for people that are tall, but we really enjoy the stay!!

Not enough laundry machines. Rooms were tight

The beds are too low and hard to get up for older clients.

Everything is ok except for the airconditioning. Its not too cold especially in the evening

The cleanliness of our rooms left a lot to be desired. There were long black hairs all over the floors that got on our stuff and stuck to our feet. We felt a little gross in the room and didn’t fully trust the cleaning procedures after noticing this. The curtains also let in a lot of light and are not blackout. Otherwise, the hotel was in a great location and staff were very kind.

I would definitely stay at Hop Inn again. We had a twin tatami room and the mattresses were so comfortable. The room was just big enough for two of us - I would say it was larger than the average Japanese hotel room. We could both open two suitcases at the same time. It might be tricky with more than 3 bags. We were able to extend our check-out by a few hours for about $10, which was well worth it. The free amenities in the lobby were great. There's also lots of seating in the lobby. There are several convenience stores nearby so finding food is easy. The best part about the room was the air conditioning/heating unit, which was fully controllable. You can have the room as hot or as icy cold as you want it. We were always extremely comfortable. It really is just a 2 minute walk from the temple. It takes about 5-10 minutes to walk to the train station, so it's not difficult to navigate even with several suitcases. It was mostly quiet. Cleaning is every 3 days but you can have your trash emptied daily, and fresh towels whenever you want them are available at the front desk.

This was the perfect hotel for us. The room was an adequate size and the bed was comfortable (if you like firm mattresses as I do). But the most important thing was the location. We could see Senso-Ji from our room. We were there during Sanja Matsuri and it was electric. Highly recommended.
