Amazingly beautiful hotel! The design is excellent

Overall, a great stay, and I was impressed by the size of the room and the dining hall as as well as the breakfast buffet selection. The location was great for me because it was only a 15 minute walk to the convention center. The entire facility was very clean. The breakfast buffet was exceptional with great variety - fish, meat, vegetables, fruit, bread, oats. I really enjoyed it.

The good: * Great breakfast buffet * Really fun hotel * Very clean * Very friendly and helpful staff * Easy access to the park * Trams right outside the hotel quickly get you to most places you'd want to visit within minutes The "to be improved": * The check in was confusing. I messaged the property before my stay aboutate checkout and confirmed the timings yet the staff had no recollection of it and said they don't do it. When I asked someone else I got slightly conflicting advice * The dinner buffet in the restaurant was comically bad (I don't know if it was because it was a quiet evening or something but terrible!). Swedish meatballs with no sauce? Nachos with no cheese!??? * Sheets in our bedroom were not changed unless we specifically requested it, and cups were not changed either * They suddenly stopped giving complimentary guest passes to the park, which was news to us when we arrived

Fantastic for a family stay

Really unique property with some wonderful features and decor, great breakfast and good size room, some staff friendly but not all. It was really disappointing to be turned away from the lunch buffet due to conference delegates eating there and also the advertised children's facilities were not available, it wasn't clear they only open certain days of the week

Wonderful experience! Beyond expectations! Enjoyed the room, the breakfast and discovering the decor at the hotel!

Very family oriented hotel

Brilliant stay at a lovely hotel with our toddler who found the hotel magical. The hotel is brilliant and while more expensive compared to other hotels, well worth it. The staff were great and amenities superb. If I had to give some constructive feedback it would be to review the eggs at breakfast - powdered eggs are just not pleasant and for the price I would expect proper eggs. Rest of breakfast was great though!

Hotel is stunning, the staff very helpful and polite

The Liseberg is an amazing hotel - if you have toddlers or young children you HAVE to book, you won’t be disappointed. From a slide that takes you down to the lobby, the carousel at breakfast, children’s cutlery, microwaves to sterilise your bottles, bunk beds & decent cots - it was so super child friendly! & great location for the amusement park of course, & for Universeum & the trams. Only things I’d mention is the need for your own baby bath (we took a fold out one we could fill in the shower) and the wallpaper by the bunk beds had a few creatures that might frighten the smallest children (nothing that can’t be blocked with pillows).
