The location was very convenient & in a quiet area. Just around a 10 minute walk from Otaru Eki. A 5 minute walk to the canal. There's a Family Mart across the street from the hotel. There was also a cute little shop selling mochi and manju nearby. I loved how the hotel was in a historic building. The bathroom was spacious & modern. Comfortable bed. Staff was friendly & very helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Overall, the hotel was very clean. The room was spacious (over 30 m²) and comfortably accommodated the three of us. The staff dressed casually rather than wearing uniforms, which gave the hotel a relaxed atmosphere. Everyone was friendly and provided excellent service. We did not have breakfast or dinner at the hotel, so we are unable to comment on the food.

Small hotel located close to Otaru canal and the main shopping street. We had a triple room. Toilet and shower area are separated. Can be inconvenient in the middle of the night if need to use the toilet and then go to shower/basin area to wash hands. Many sashimi shops along the shopping street but most shops close early, by 6pm, some by 4pm. Hotel has limited paid onsite parking lots located in front of hotel. Next to hotel is Times parking but slightly more expensive. If not having breakfast in hotel, we found a Komeda coffee place about 7 mins walk away, opens from 7am. There is a Cosmos pump station and a Family Mart opposite the hotel.

Fantastisch
Stayed here at OMO5 2 years ago and back again. Everything was good. Suggestion to provide a coffee machine at the lobby would be great.

No drink water supply at room, if u need water need go downstairs get it, and no coffee , if you want drink, need pay money

OMO5 is a great base for exploring the city. Just steps from the Otaru Canal and surrounded by shops and restaurants, the location is perfect. Clean, modern rooms and friendly staff made the stay easy and comfortable. Would happily stay again.
