Dingen om te doen in Tromso

I actually booked the tour because of the aurora offer in the description. Unfortunately, until the end of the tour, the metric for aurora sighting was poor and we ended up not going for the sighting at all. Despite that unlucky part, this tour gives amazing experience for travelers who plan to visit Tasmania for the first time. We don’t speak Chinese at all, but tour guides always give English explanation in addition to pre-recorded English audio guide of each destination. If you are hunting for aurora sighting, make sure you’ve checked the possibility of seeing the aurora Australis before booking. Otherwise, just enjoy the beauty of Tasmania as covered by this tour.

Geweldig. We hebben het noorderlicht mogen aanschouwen, allemaal dankzij onze bekwame gids die ons naar het prachtige uitzicht op het noorderlicht heeft kunnen leiden.

Amazing experience with the team of 3 (2 guides + driver) led a bus group of 49pax, all public signed ups. Interesting to note that none of the 3 are Norwegian. ;). What’s more important is that they know where to take us to catch Ms Aurora dancing! All pictures are captured by iPhone 16. This is my 3rd time seeing Northern lights (1st Iceland, 2nd Finland), Tromso’s experience is hands down! Breathtaking!

Het landschap zelf is echt prachtig, vooral de uitzichten op de fjorden, en de prijs voelt redelijk aan gezien hoe duur alles hier is. De vissoep die was inbegrepen was ook een leuke verrassing en voegde zeker waarde toe aan de ervaring. Dat gezegd hebbende, een nadeel was de samenstelling van de groep. Ongeveer de helft van de deelnemers kwam uit China, van wie velen geen Engels spraken, de uitleg van de gids niet volgden en luid praatten tijdens de tour. Het beïnvloedde de algehele sfeer en maakte het moeilijker om van het commentaar van de gids te genieten. Ik denk dat het veel beter zou zijn als de touroperator groepen zou kunnen scheiden op basis van taal of reisstijl, aangezien verschillende gasten duidelijk verschillende verwachtingen hebben. Over het algemeen is de tour zelf de moeite waard, maar de ervaring zou verbeterd worden met betere groepsindelingen.

Ontspannende cruise door de fjorden rond Tromsø, vriendelijk personeel, interessante stop bij een visverwerkingsbedrijf.
