Muir Woods, Sausalito en Alcatraz waren allemaal prachtig. Ik waardeer de leuke weetjes en trivia van de gids. Ik heb met plezier naar hem geluisterd. 1 uur in Sausalito was kort. Ik wou dat we minstens 2 uur hadden kunnen blijven, maar over het algemeen was de tour leuk. Een suggestie zou zijn om de ophaallocatie in de reisbeschrijving op te nemen.

Onze gids Alberto van Extranomical Tours is een ware legende! De bus heeft USB-poorten waar je je telefoon kunt opladen. Zorg er wel voor dat je je eigen kabels of adapters meeneemt. We hadden het geluk de sequoiabomen te zien! Over het algemeen zeer aan te bevelen en complimenten aan Extranomical Tours.

Het was een zeer goede reis, bijna op tijd. Ik boekte de avond ervoor en kon zonder problemen deelnemen aan de tour. (De audiogids was alleen beschikbaar in het Chinees of Koreaans, en je moest de app-taal vooraf wijzigen voordat je deze kon downloaden na aankoop. Ik vergat dit te doen, dus ik kon hem niet downloaden 😅). Het weerbericht voor die dag was 'Mostly Sunny', maar de eerste helft was een beetje bewolkt en de tweede helft klaarde het op, waardoor we van een prachtig uitzicht konden genieten. Wat de transfer betreft, de ophaallocatie was erg handig, wat fijn was, maar het was verrassend dat de auto plotseling zonder benzine kwam te zitten op de snelweg op de terugweg, waardoor we gestrand raakten 😂. Ik stond bijna op het punt om te gaan liften, maar uiteindelijk bleek er iemand in de buurt te wonen die ons wat benzine gaf, zodat we naar een tankstation konden rijden. Ik denk dat dit ook een goede herinnering was! De gids leek een beetje gehaast, maar gaf ons goede informatie! Je moet nog 100 yuan extra betalen voor de toegangsprijs, dus het is een beetje prijzig, maar het was een geweldige ervaring, dus ik raad het ten zeerste aan!

The 10 AM meeting time is very convenient, making it perfect for business travelers or those looking for a half-day trip. Our guide, Joe, has extensive experience and shared fascinating anecdotes about San Francisco's history, Muir Woods, and Sausalito along the way. Muir Woods is fantastic, a forest full of positive energy and phytoncides. The trails are very accessible; for those who exercise regularly or enjoy hiking, it's just a leisurely forest walk, also suitable for seniors and children. You have the option to take a ferry back to San Francisco from Sausalito for an additional fee. We highly recommend taking the ferry back, as it offers stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz. Remember to choose the right side of the deck on the return trip for the best scenery! Upon arrival at the Ferry Building, you'll find a clean and beautiful indoor food court where you can relax and refresh.

Ik heb echt een geweldige tijd gehad. We zijn naar zulke mooie plekken geweest en het was fijn dat we in slechts één dag de hoogtepunten van Yosemite hebben bezocht. De stoel was comfortabel, er was wifi aan boord. Onze gids is benaderbaar en geeft onderweg veel informatie en geschiedenis.

Tour was good since it takes you around the city but some stops are a bit far from touristy spots. We had to walk a lot uphill just to see Lombard. Aquarium suddenly wasn’t part of the tour on the day we joined so we didn’t get the tickets that were supposed to be included. Sunset tour was worth it though.

Entered the Academy by using the QR codes sent to my email. it was a breeze. Exhibits and shows are very educational to all, young and old. Enough space and great food selection at the food court
