Dingen om te doen in Honolulu

We hebben een geweldige tijd gehad op Koalua Ranch dankzij Amelia, onze gids, en Val. Het weer toen we er waren was zonnig, bewolkt en regenachtig, wat bijdroeg aan het avontuur. Het landschap en de verhalen erachter zijn geweldig. Een absolute aanrader als je op Hawaï bent.

Ik ben dol op het uitzicht en alles in de set, maar de tour was nogal gehaast. Ik denk dat we meer tijd nodig hadden voor foto's of op zijn minst om van alles tijdens de tour te genieten. Want niet iedereen is bevoorrecht genoeg om dezelfde tour opnieuw te doen. WE-HEBBEN-TIJD-NODIG... het is een tour. Oh, en we begonnen laat. Daarom. Tsk tsk. De gids was echter geweldig. Hij was humoristisch en deskundig. Gewoon gehaast.

It was a wonderful experience! The boat moved faster than I expected. When I went out on the deck, it was a bit windy, but the American flag was waving, and I was able to take some great photos. Unfortunately, it was cloudy, so we couldn't see the sunset, but we did see a beautiful evening sky. After that, we saw the Waikiki night view from the ocean, which is a rare sight. And the fireworks were beautiful too. The food was delicious, and the hula dance show was powerful and very good. I highly recommend participating if you visit Hawaii.

Paardrijden voor de tweede keer terwijl je geniet van het uitzicht op de bergen en waar Jurassic Park is gefilmd, voelt surrealistisch.

Een echt unieke plek die elke cent waard is! Het is de beste ervaring om de plek te bezoeken waar de oorlog werd beëindigd.

Initially, the bus arrived 15 minutes late to the meeting point, but that was my only moment of anxiety. The free malasadas, the magnificent nature and scenery, Dole Plantation, seeing sea turtles while snorkeling, the exquisite garlic shrimp, and the Jurassic Park filming locations—everything was so packed that 10 hours flew by in an instant. Our tour guide, Dirk, seemed to have been an English teacher in Tokyo, so he was fluent in Japanese. Since everyone else in our group was foreign, the tour was conducted entirely in English, but when he spoke to us, he used fluent Japanese. He was so proficient that he could even crack jokes in Japanese. This was my first time in Hawaii, and I'm already planning to go back soon.

My parents and my father-in-law and I took the bus driven by Mr. Oli. They are quite elderly, and by that point in the trip, they were starting to feel tired. However, they were very satisfied with the trolley tour along the Hawaiian coast, enjoying the cool breeze. Throughout the ride, Mr. Oli provided many explanations and shared interesting stories about the main points of interest, making it a very enjoyable time.

De chauffeur was goed, gaf ons tijdens onze tour goede geschiedenis en details, waardoor ik kennis opdeed over Hawaï. Ik raad aan om de donuts van Leonard te proberen!
