Michael, our guide as well as driver, was really energetic and shared interesting stories of the place. Also appreciated that he helped to take photos of me when I climbed to the observatory point at Jangtaesan. You’ll need to climb around 6 stories to reach the top and some parts are without proper stairs. But the view was wonderful.

if you are on the fence if you want to take this tour, DO IT! i joined this tour solo in November 2024. Jeonju Hanok village is like Insadong and Suwon but it has its own charm. After Jeonju, Jangtaesan mountain was also very beautiful, lots of sequioa trees which turned brown during autumn. The bridge/walkway was a bit scary for someone who is afraid of heights. one suggestion is for the tour guide to give more information about the places we visit and places we are passing through.... he did gove some info but only very little.

the company is Kstorytoyr . Our guide Roy and Victoria are very professional and takes good care of us. Roy in particular is vigilant noting details such as safety of infants that travels with the group , as an example. Roy and Victoria works well together ensuring they station themselves as different points and caters to those who are ahead or those that that's more time to walk. they are also good problem solvers and when it becomes clear that traffic in a particular direction is bad they make adjustments to the schedule so that we are able to spend more time on the attractions wo being affected by the bad traffic. Kudos. one of the most professional and resourceful guides I have experienced. I have enough time to take alot of good photos and soak in the atmosphere.

We had a wonderful experience thanks to our kind tour guide Mr Jake. He tried to speak English and his English is not bad at all. Jeonju Hanok Village was nice too, I wish I could visit Jeonju in autumn. It was beautiful and calming. However, the restaurant is too bland to our taste 😅 maybe we should try other muslim friendly menu. The visit to the mosque is worth it too. Can’t say much since we were able to pray peacefully at the mosque alhamdulillah. The mosque is the reason why I chose to go to Jeonju. Overall I really recommended this tour to all my Muslim friends out there.

We waren dol op alles aan deze tour. Het was naadloos! Van de reisroute tot aan het schema. De hele ervaring was perfect 🫰🏼Ik had verwacht dat het een beetje aan de serieuze kant zou zijn, maar het was leuk en plezierig gemaakt dankzij onze lieve reisleidster AJ van Seoul City Tour. Ze is de beste!

Dank u Sky. Bedankt dat u voor me gezorgd hebt en op me hebt gewacht, ook al was ik 5 minuten te laat 🥹. Als soloreiziger voel ik me niet achtergelaten. Hij vroeg me altijd dingen als: "Houd je van pittig?" of zei dingen als: "Het is oké, ze serveren ook voor 1 persoon in het restaurant". Ik vond het dakgalbi-restaurant waar hij ons mee naartoe nam erg leuk, het was 맛있어요 😋 Goed gedaan.

We hebben een erg leuke dag gehad! We hebben vier plaatsen bezocht en alles voelde goed aan, helemaal niet gehaast. Het was koud, maar er waren minder mensen en het weer was geweldig om foto's te maken. Onze gids, Hakim, was vriendelijk en professioneel en hield ons de hele tijd op de hoogte, zelfs via de chat. Zeker een gedenkwaardige tour en een die ik zou aanbevelen.

Ik was erg enthousiast om deel te nemen aan deze DMZ-tour, omdat deze al sinds de middelbare school op mijn bucketlist stond. Leren hoe ideologie een natie - en zelfs broers en zussen - kan scheiden, is diep pijnlijk maar ongelooflijk onthullend. Miljoenen levens zijn getroffen door deze scheiding. Midden in de aanhoudende spanningen tussen de DPRK en de ROK konden we verschillende vormen van propaganda zien, zoals het dorp, de wedstrijd om de hoogste vlaggenmast te bouwen en uitzichten op de Kaesong Speciale Economische Zone. Het was ook interessant om te leren dat er nu mensen rond de DMZ wonen en biologische producten verbouwen in het gebied. Onze gids, Kelly, was erg behulpzaam en deskundig. Ze legde de historische en politieke context duidelijk uit, wat elke plaats die we bezochten veel betekenisvoller maakte. Ik nam mijn 7-jarige dochter mee en ze was de hele reis oprecht geïnteresseerd. Een belangrijke opmerking: deze tour omvat meer dan 15.000 stappen, dus zorg ervoor dat je goed voorbereid bent en comfortabele schoenen draagt. Sterk aanbevolen!
