I had the best experience with them. They gave me enough suggestions on which type of kimonos and obis would look good on me. They also assisted my husband with his Yakuta. The staff was super friendly inspite of being so busy. They gave me a couple of options for hairstyles and the final one turned out to be so beautiful. I would also want to give a special mention to photographer Paul, who clicked such beautiful pictures and guided us with poses and what to do throughout the entire process. Even the unedited photos were so pretty.

De foto's zijn absoluut fenomenaal geworden, net ware kunstwerken, en zullen een prachtige herinnering voor het leven zijn. De fotograaf was geweldig, hij lette op elk detail, gaf nuttige begeleiding en maakte het hele moment nog specialer en gevuld met emotie. Het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk en alles verliep vlot in een kalme en gastvrije sfeer. Als je een bezoek aan Kyoto plant, raad ik je ten zeerste aan om deze ervaring te boeken. Het is een herinnering die je voor altijd zult koesteren! 🌸

jiang Cheng is the best! She knows a lot of beautiful places to take pictures. Very professional and friendly. she waited for us to be finished for our kimono session. we are family of 4 so it takes time. we love her work for 30 minutes a lot of pictures and different poses with her own props. She also take our pictures at the Yasaka Pagoda so we are comfortable with her already. Highly recommended her!!! :)

This was truly an unforgettable experience me and my four friends rented kimonos from here and we’re able to take the most memorable pictures at the temple. This is definitely something you have to do when you come to Kyoto and this company is the best company to do it with! Thank you!

Very close to the main attraction, 10 minutes walk after completed the attire. Many eateries nearby It took about 30minute or less as we are the first 10 customer at 930am slot

The shop’s easy to find, right by the street and close to Gion. I went early and was the first customer — definitely come in the morning because choosing your kimono takes time. They have tons of options, and the staff are so kind and efficient. Dressing up took less than ten minutes, and they even do hair and makeup on-site. The hairstyles are cute and quick, and you can pick accessories, a matching bag and sandals too. I picked a white-and-gold set, which looked elegant but blended into the background a bit, so my tip is to go bold with colour — it really pops in photos! Great value for money and such a fun Kyoto must-do.

Went to the shop and the staff welcomed us very friendly. I thought the Kimono rental have time limit like Hanbok in Korea but the staff said I can rent until 5:30pm. The staff also so fast in helping us to wear the Kimono. Overall experience was so good and definitely will return to osaka and rent here again. Also, this shop is among the cheapest one in Kyoto, I have done researched on tiktok and most of the kimono rental rate are so so so expensive. Please rent your Kimono here!!! Very recommended~ Hehehe
