Palace of Versailles-tours

Andre was onze gids, hij was uitstekend. Hij legde het paleis van Versailles en de geschiedenis van koning Lodewijk XIV uit. Het paleis zelf duurde ongeveer 1,5 uur om er alleen al doorheen te lopen. Maar de tuinen waren enorm. We zijn alleen naar de Drakenfontein gegaan en toen zijn we teruggelopen. De tuinen zijn zo groot, je hebt ongeveer 4 uur nodig om de hele plek te bewandelen. Er zijn kleine golfkarretjes te huur, dit is een snellere optie om naar alle fonteinen te gaan.

we namen de bus naar Versailles en het is een tour van een halve dag. Het is voldoende om het hele paleis en de tuinen te zien. Voor de audiogids: je moet deze downloaden en je eigen mobiele telefoon en oortjes gebruiken.

We arrived late for our tour due to heavy traffic in Paris. Fortunately, the tour guide from City Vision quickly arranged for us to join another tour. She escorted us to the Palace of Versailles and ensured we were settled with the new guide. This location is a must-visit when in Paris, but be sure to dedicate a full day to explore its vast grounds. I recommend taking the little train within the gardens, which allows for unlimited hop-on, hop-off access (just remember to keep your ticket receipt).

The only France tour that i really enjoyed and worth every penny! Our tour guide Stephanie is a GEM! She is the most knowledgeable, passionate and energetic tour guide of all. I highly recommend her everytime you book for this tour!

體驗過往帝王的奢華生活，比起宮殿本身，個人喜歡花園多一些，由於時值冬天，夏日來訪可以多花時間在花園走走。當時訂購是含大小特里亞農宮，但沒機會進入參觀，因為天氣太冷，加上前兩日留下的鐵腿，租了高爾夫球車，一小時內逛完花園景點，有點可惜

10/10 experience one of my favourite highlights from my trip to Paris. Absolutely beautiful I went in August and all the flowers were blooming. highly reccomend coming here. definitely book w a guide as transport is MUCH easier. i tried to organise it myself and it was very troublesome as the public transport to get to giverny isn’t easy nor frequent. even if you arent a fan of Monet you will enjoy this tour and its nice to go to the country side of France for a different experience

the guide tour make this trip meaningful for us that do not have a background on french history. She explain and give the background story of the rooms that we visited and the paintings that we saw in the palace.
