Vatican Museums-tours

Julian, de gids, was erg grappig en weet veel over de plekken. Hij neemt echt de tijd voor iedereen in de groep om foto's te maken voordat hij verdergaat.

Dit was een van de beste tours die ik in Vaticaanstad heb ervaren. Helaas was de gids niet aanwezig; ze verstrekten de tickets via sms. We moesten de tickets gebruiken en zelf navigeren. Voor de Sint-Pietersbasiliek mochten we de skip-the-line tickets niet gebruiken omdat de gids afwezig was, dus moesten we wachten. Over het algemeen was het een goede ervaring, hoewel ik denk dat ze hun service moeten verbeteren. Verder was alles goed.

Onze tour door de Vaticaanse Musea was absoluut geweldig, dankzij onze fantastische gids, Loreta. Ze was deskundig, gepassioneerd en bracht de geschiedenis tot leven met fascinerende verhalen en inzichten. Haar uitleg voegde zoveel diepte toe aan de kunst en architectuur - vooral de Sixtijnse Kapel. Een echte aanrader, en als je kunt, vraag dan naar Loreta!

Our guide was terrific. Not only did she masterfully guide us through the chaotic crowds, but she also offered very insightful and interesting commentary throughout on the art, architecture, and history of the museum and Cathedral.

v patient and professional guide. save a lot of time in exploring the place. got the chance to go through the holy door. would highly recommend it.

This is a very good tour but it is really tiring. be prepared to do a lot of walking and stand for the whole duration. the guide is very knowledgeable. the tour is quite expensive and it starts very early to avoid the big crowds. the walk from meeting place to the vatican museum is also quite far. after the vatican museum, the guide will take u to saint peter’s basilica.

Ilaria was an exceptional guide during our Vatican museums and Sistine Chapel tour. From the moment we met her, her enthusiasm for art and history was contagious. My history geek heart was so amazed by her. She expertly navigated us through the vast collections, sharing fascinating stories and insights. She made our visit to Vatican an unforgettable one. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

Meet up was easy. I received an email 2 days before the tour regarding instructions on where to meet up and how to find the guides. Audio set were provided. The rest of our group did not show up hence we were treated to a private guided tour of the Vatican instead. We enjoyed our tour with our guide, Assunta from Ecotour. I was with my senior parents and she was very patient and accommodating of my parents. There was a long line going inside the Vatican but we were able to skip the lines through our guide. There was a lot of walking involved so make sure to bring water and use the restroom when you can. Our guide was very knowledgable. She explained the history of the Vatican, important works of art. The tour does not include St. peter's basilica since it is free but she guided us to the entrance. Overall, we had a lot of fun. Great value for money.
