Boracay snorkelen

I was terrified and almost had a panic attack because of my PTSD and GAD but I overcame it. Diver was so kind to make sure we descend slowly and held my hand throughout and reassured me. My partner was reassuring too. There were a lot of instructions to keep in mind that made me feel overwhelmed but its an experience you should not miss. It just seems scary at first but once you are underwater and see the divers and other tourists, you feel less scared. The photos and videos come free too. But the experience was short and you could not really go around but just stand in a small area for photos on a coral reef and the diver will lure fish with bread to take nice photos and videos. It is one of the exciting activities i did at boracay with my partner.

I'm a regular diver and currently training to become a Divemaster with DiveGurus here in Boracay. I keep coming back because the team is genuinely amazing. They're experienced, supportive, and they really take the time to help you grow as a diver. The vibe is always friendly and relaxed, but everything is still run very professionally. The dive sites around Boracay are beautiful and the staff know them inside out. Every dive feels safe, fun, and worth it. 超级满意的一次体验，可以说这一次长滩之行的最佳！！！丝毫没有夸张，因为我们英文很差，所以全程靠翻译软件交流，安德鲁超级超级耐心，吊打国内所有教练，讲得超级无比的详细！真心的，有被感动到！超级专业，首先会试潜，我们发现了我们的问题，提出来后 他都会非常耐心非常有效的给我们解决！真的太棒了，店长给安德鲁和托马斯加鸡腿！哈哈哈哈 真的他们太负责了，好感动，感恩遇见！！！大家真的在他家潜水吧，真的很不错，全岛最低价！全岛最负责！中国人不骗中国人，哈哈哈哈 他家也没中国员工。

The dive center was easy to spot. They sent a text message a day before to remind me of the dive schedule and what to expect. I was alone with the divemaster on the day, but it was still as enjoyable despite the rains. Must do in Boracay.

即使我去年在台灣體驗潛水過，但因我背部6年前開過刀又有高血壓問題，教練基於安全考量要求我必須在當地醫生評估才能下海（自費500p)最後安全過關。開始影片和口述教學。背上氧氣瓶到淺水區練習四個安全步驟。哪知我屢試都不成功，一直喝到海水。我拼命喊放棄放棄，請教練直接帶我女兒船潛。珍妮很有耐心安撫我，即使乘船時間已過，她希望我克服困難，鼓勵我再試再試，終於可以下海欣賞海底世界。珍妮一路隨行牽著不安的我，讓我們享受5-10米的體驗潛水（可惜沒趕上船潛）無論如何，謝謝珍妮和John 陪我渡過平安的體驗潛水。我去年在小琉球潛水也沒那麼難過關…..奇怪訥！珍妮說下次一定可以順利完成船潛任務的。好吧！我加油！

It’s been over a year since I last went underwater because I had a scuba accident and decided land was safer for a while. But I missed the ocean too much and it was time to stop babysitting my fear. I showed up 45 minutes early and Ate Nori kept me company the entire time. She was chatting, prepping my gear, getting the waivers ready, basically doing everything while I tried to look like a chill diver who totally knew what she was doing. She was very accommodating and helpful! Sammy, my dive master, a.k.a. underwater guardian angel slash photographer. He briefed me, took care of me the whole time and even captured amazing photos and videos which, by the way, were included in the package! A total bargain, considering other dive shops in Boracay would probably charge extra for this. We went to the Angol dive site, and it was chef’s kiss. Sammy kept checking in on me and he took awesome shots that I’ll proudly keep as proof that I faced my fear and made peace with the sea again.

Geweldige Helmduikervaring! Als een solo reiziger voor de eerste keer, voelde ik me erg veilig bij het boeken via Klook. Het personeel was erg maasikaso en zorgde ervoor dat alles van begin tot eind soepel verliep. De duikers waren grappig en vriendelijk, wat me hielp me meer op mijn gemak te voelen onder water. Ze maakten ook prachtige foto's en video's die de hele ervaring perfect vastlegden! Een echte aanrader — zo'n leuk en onvergetelijk onderdeel van mijn reis naar Boracay! 🌊💙
