Dingen om te doen in Sydney

De cruise was leuk en onderhoudend. We konden verschillende uitzichten zien op het operagebouw, de Harbour Bridge, het eiland en de Sydney Baywalks en residenties. De gids deelde verschillende inzichten. Er zijn ook gratis drankjes bij. 🙂

Despite the relatively high price, this is a novel and well worth it experience. The staff go the extra mile to make it fun, engaging and memorable. The facility is clean and there is a cafe and gift shop for pre/post climb activity. A considerable amount of time was spent on the safety prep, but even then it was done in an interesting and fun way. We were given standard overalls to wear over our clothes, so avoid wearing loose clothing (i.e. dress, skirts, big sweaters). Phones and accessories are not allowed (i guess to avoid dropping them up there), if you wear glasses they will give you a special strap for it. Lockers are also provided and there are water stations along the route in case you get thirsty. Overall a great experience and must do in Sydney!

De rondleiding met gids door het Sydney Opera House was een onvergetelijke ervaring die dit architectonische meesterwerk tot leven bracht. Hoewel de opvallende zeilen van buiten adembenemend zijn, onthult een stap naar binnen een nog dieper niveau van schoonheid, geschiedenis en innovatie. Onze gids was deskundig, gepassioneerd en zat vol fascinerende verhalen - van de uitdagingen van de constructie tot inzichten in uitvoeringen die de podia hebben gesierd. We verkenden verschillende van de belangrijkste zalen en liepen door gebieden die normaal niet toegankelijk zijn voor het publiek. De tour gaf een echte waardering voor zowel de kunstzinnigheid als de techniek achter het Opera House. Of je nu een architectuurliefhebber, een liefhebber van podiumkunsten bent, of gewoon nieuwsgierig bent naar een van 's werelds meest iconische gebouwen, deze tour is zeker de moeite waard.

Het was een probleemloze boeking - we boekten onze tickets slechts een uur voor ons bezoek en kregen de bevestiging onmiddellijk! Zo makkelijk te gebruiken (hoefden alleen de code te scannen bij de ingang) en we waren binnen! Geweldige ervaring

Highly recommended for families with kids! My daughter especially loved the SEA LIFE Aquarium experience. She’s a big fan of sea animals, and it was such a joy seeing her enjoy and learn at the same time. The pass is a great way to explore multiple attractions and get the best value.

I went on the Featherdale + Blue Mountains tour with guide Kelvin Sung! Since it was a summer starlight tour, the schedule ended late, but after it was over, instead of saying "Ah, I'm tired," the first thing I said was "Wow, that was a great trip." From the moment we set off, I noticed that the guide's voice was really nice, lol. I thought he was a radio DJ... it was easy to concentrate on the explanations because they were so easy on the ears. We started the day at Featherdale Wildlife Park, and it was amazing to see Australian animals in real life. We took pictures with the panoramic view at Lincoln's Rock, and had plenty of time for a break in Leura Village. It was amazing that the schedule went smoothly even though the temperature exceeded 40 degrees Celsius that day. He timed the breaks perfectly, so there was no physical strain. We had dinner in Katoomba Village, and I recharged my k-blood at the Korean restaurant he recommended after a long time. The most impressive thing was definitely the Blue Mountains sunset and the stargazing. Especially when watching the sunset and the stars, the guide took us to a secret spot he had discovered himself, and the scenery was so quiet and peaceful that the emotion was doubled. In the car, he didn't just explain the tourist attractions, but also gave us encouraging words and positive expressions, which made me feel good throughout the tour. Everyone in the tour group said, "He's the best guide I've ever met," and I completely agree. Even in the hot weather, he took care of us meticulously and created a great atmosphere, making it a tour that will remain in my memory for a long time. I really want to recommend it to people around me, and if I come again, I will definitely choose this tour again!!

Ik had me nooit in mijn hele leven voorgesteld dat de Blue Mountains zo majestueus en mooi zouden zijn, je zou het ook eens moeten proberen!

Ik heb er een dag van mijn reis in Sydney aan besteed en ik was er erg blij mee. Van de pick-up 's ochtends tot de planning verliep alles systematisch, waardoor ik er gemakkelijk van kon genieten. In Featherdale Wildlife Park was het geweldig om koala's en kangoeroes van dichtbij te zien. Het uitzicht op de Blue Mountains was veel indrukwekkender dan op de foto's, en de kabelbaan en spoorweg van Scenic World waren spannend en leuk. De gids gaf gedetailleerde uitleg en zorgde voor fotomomenten tussendoor, waardoor ik de hele dag optimaal heb benut. Ik raad het ten zeerste aan als je Sydney bezoekt!

The majestic scenery of the Blue Mountains offers a visual and physical escape when you ascend to take in the views. The activity starts with a photo op at Lincoln's Rock, where you can sit on the edge of the cliff – the driver/guide will help take pictures, but be mindful of your own safety as there's an endless drop below. I have a fear of heights and felt dizzy, so I took the picture standing up. Next, we went to Echo Point to admire the Three Sisters rock formation up close and appreciate their unwavering, resilient spirit. Then came the highlight of the tour – experiencing three different cable cars at Blue Mountains National Park. For the red cable car, which has the steepest incline, it's best to hold onto your backpack and not leave it on the empty seat next to you, because the descent gets incredibly steep, and your bag will likely fall down to several seats in front of you. After the descent, there's a forest trail with many lifelike dinosaur displays. The whole itinerary is quite relaxing, and at lunchtime, you'll go to town for a free meal, where you can choose your favorite restaurant.
