Geweldige dag! De chauffeur was uitstekend, zeer communicatief (hij gebruikte een vertaler) en vriendelijk. Vanwege het weer zijn we afgeweken naar de secundaire route, maar het was nog steeds een geweldige ervaring en een fantastische dag! We hadden het geluk om de rand van Hokkaido te zien toen het weer een beetje verbeterde. De favoriete plek was het Inari-heiligdom.

Blijkbaar was het de eerste dag met hevige sneeuwval tijdens de reisdag, dus we konden niet veel zien. Maar Nakamura-san bracht ons toch naar Lamp No Yado onsen, wat het hoogtepunt van onze reis was. De met sneeuw bedekte berg is zo mooi, en Nakamura-san... Wat kan ik zeggen? Zo bekwaam en kalm de hele dag. Het moet zo moeilijk zijn om op een besneeuwde dag te rijden, want onderweg zagen we veel auto's die een ongeluk hadden gehad en in elke situatie stopte ze en hielp ze. We waren zo onder de indruk. Ze is een van de beste chauffeurs en gidsen in Japan, denk ik. Heel erg bedankt, Nakamura-san! Het was echt een onvergetelijke reis!

Connected to the station and also to the malls. Convenient and accessible. No issue with booking when checking in. The room is as advertised in the photos and the breakfast spread was incredible too.

The hotel is a bit older, but the room was spacious and clean. I also tried the breakfast buffet, which had a great variety of options, including local dishes, so I really enjoyed it. I will definitely stay here again next time I go to Aomori.

This is my second time visiting Aomori, and I chose Daiwa Roynet Hotel again. Firstly, there aren't many hotel options here, and secondly, this chain guarantees quality.
As with other hotels in the series, the rooms are quite large and the bathrooms are very clean. The location is also excellent, with a convenience store downstairs and a cafe across the street. It's also just a few minutes' walk to JR Aomori Station, which is great.
Plus, the shopping mall at Aomori Station has been renovated, adding more places to browse. Highly recommended!!!

I was very satisfied with my stay here for 2 nights in Aomori. This is the second time I've stayed at a Dormy Inn since the one in Ikebukuro, and overall the facilities were newer. The onsen (hot spring bath) and free massage chairs, late-night ramen and ice cream, and yogurt in the morning were the best services. The staff were very friendly, and there was apple juice and a coffee machine near the front desk, so it was nice to be able to come and go and drink during the provided times. There were also a variety of amenities and the onsen was clean and had an outdoor bath, so it was great to soak in the hot water in the cold air. If I had to pick a downside, it's about an 8-10 minute walk from Aomori Station, so it might be a bit inconvenient if you have a suitcase, but it was fine for us. I would recommend it to anyone and if I have the opportunity to come again, I will definitely stay here again.

Lovely hotel in central location. We used parking option as well. Room was spacious, all amenities provided. Breakfast was Japanese and Western style. Hotel had some nice gallery style exhibitions, like nebuta and ceramics.
